What happened to all the fighters that Mayweather ducked over the course of 16 months, though? 16 months isn't long enough to duck an entire division like you people seem to keep implying. It would make sense if he took 3+ years off. Were the fighters that you think he ducked from Top Rank or no?

Top rank and Gbp were working together at the time and gave us mab-manny 2, manny-jmm 2, manny-hatton, manny-oscar, Shane-cotto, etc..

In those 16 months.. Cotto and margs beat the crap out of each other and neither were ever the same,, cotto beat Shane in a war, margs got rocked by mosely, and mosely became even older... A lot can happen in boxing in a short time

Mayweather must be a prophet huh? In 16 months the whole division goes to hell and Mayweather didn't age 1 single day?

Oh. They must have not been as good as advertised if they get shot to pieces 1 year after Mayweather allegedly ducked them then, no?

No, it can take one figh to change a fighter,,, hagler was never the same after hearns fight and he won it... Vargas or jonathon Reid or Joppa were all ruined by Tito....

06,07 versions of cotto, margs, Shane were much better than their 09, 10,11,12 versions... That's clear as day... Wars and brutal fights take their toll on fighters

Why do you feel that Floyd needed to seek Cotto out to fight him? When they were stablemates Cotto wanted nothing to do with him. So, if Floyd should've fought Cotto in 2008, doesn't the same apply for Cotto?

Cotto is already on record saying that he never asked or lobbied for the fight and it was never brought to him by his promoter, so why would u blame Floyd for this???
