I specifically remember Roach saying he had two fighters in his gym that can beat Floyd. He was referring to Pac and Khan.
Someone should show him that quote.

when he had khan-he said he had 2 fighters who could beat floyd. Now that khan is with Virgil and may get the floyd fight-Freddie is singing a different tune. And the ppv won't sell.

Freddie would fit in well here on NSB with all of the other Manny mouthpieces that switch their tune/logic/reasoning depending on the discussion topic and the fighters are being discussed.

He said it again less than two weeks ago. It's hard to take him seriously when he flip flops with disingenuous comments:

"That's not an easy fight," said Roach. He went on and said that if Khan fights the correct fight, he can really shudder Mayweather. "I've always said Amir has the right style to beat Floyd if he fights correctly and doesn't stay in the pocket too long," Roach added.

The Hall of Fame trainer has high expectations that Khan's hand speed can upset the undefeated fighter. "I always thought he could beat him with his speed," said Roach. "I think he's faster than Mayweather and that's what it takes to beat him," he said. "Floyd might have his hands full on the night," Roach concluded.

It may do okay financially but not a blockbuster.

Precisely. Wasn't it just three weeks ago he was saying Khan has all the tools to upset Mayweather. No he's saying he can't win the fight? Which one is it Roach???
