You just made yourself look like a total MORON! I used the 9-5-0 fighter as and EXAMPLE that we are not talking 2 levels deep so anyone mentioning Mercado or Mitchel is going two levels deep and if that is the case, I can do the same with a 9-5-0 fighter that beat Watson! Again, since you are clueless - This is not about the opponents of the opponents, IE Mercado or James Cooke, it is about the opponents directly dumba$$, IE Watson and Hopkins!!
I don't think I disagreed with much of that. I just question your reasoning. A potential fight is based on styles not on who someone beat or where they're ranked all time. I have yet to see you give a style breakdown of a potential fight between Eubank and Jones. Instead all I've seen is **** like "Eubank lost to Collins lolz.. how does he beat Super Roy" or frantic boxrec scowering to pick holes in resumes whilst complaining that others are doing the same.
A potential fight includes their skills, their opposition, and how far up the ATG latter they went. Jones was faster, hit harder, rarely lost a round, and is agreed by the overwhelming majority to be better than Eubank and this goes WITHOUT saying because it is Jones name that is mentioned vs the ATG's of 2-3 divisions, not Eubank. Hardly anyone is interested in that fantasy matchup because Jones is the easy pick. It is against other ATG Jones is compared to. The overwhelming majority know this. There is a poll that shows nearly 3-1 in favor of Jones. End of thread.
"Listen, let's not joke about it, Eubank were fantastic on the night. I don't think there were many super middleweights alive, at that time of his life, on that night that could have beaten him. Because he knew he had to win, which was a credit to me. I can look back now and say he had to be in that position because he trained hard, he trained hard for me. So that was good that he took me as a real threat, even though he threw it back in my face by hitting me so hard! [laughs].
"He's an absolutely tremendous boxer, absolutely fantastic fighter, a fighting machine, he really was. And after all his joking about and his antics, he were good, good at what he did. People couldn't understand him, and I couldn't understand him, but looking at the boxing side of it, he was really, really class.
"A lot of people out there are looking for their legacy, and he was a fighter that could have made his own legacy. In America he's pretty much an unknown. Benn is better known because he took on Iran Barkley and Doug DeWitt, so he took them all did Benn. But if Eubank had took less fights and done that, then he could have been classed as the best ever. He were that good. He would have been in your top five of all time. I tell you, a great, classic fighter was Eubank."

That was a massive waste of your time. Jones was untouchable and would have absolutely embarassed Eubank at any stage prior to moving up to heavyweight. Toney was twice the fighter and Jones didn't lose a round to him. I get that styles make fights, but Roy had already beaten better fighters with better ability in every aspect than Chris. End of story.

Still didn't see much of a style breakdown there. Most people would have Ali way ahead of Ken Norton in an ATG list but that didn't stop Norton's style from giving him hell. Your logic is pretty basic.

Roy Jones himself said at the time that Chris Eubank was the man who'd give him the most trouble
