        Its a very good fight would be nice if they could get it done at any weight whether it be at 154-160 or in between somewhere.

            @MarkEOrtega he is not approved by HBO and never on our radar, he should be calling out Quillin, if he wins, he becomes interesting

            So the ducking begins.

            from another thread. so given how his promoter is making excuses and more people think ggg is ducking, i thought i would bump this thread.

              Why are people starting threads who cant even count to 3?

              GGG = HBO
              Lara = Showtime

              Cold War = Sucks!

              April 26th => MSG reserved for GGG with HBO, so no LARA!

              Lara = not even a middleweight, no fanbase, with Showtime, poor ratings

              After April 26th when GGG takes another intermediate fight in Monaco, Germany or wherever when HBO is not involved, Lara can become the next good boy.

                  So now people realise that GGG is on HBO? Firstly am pretty sure GBP would allow Lara to take the GGG on HBO, Lara isn't as big as Mayweather so that "HBO" thing is a muted point. Secondly I see GGG fans are not applying the same logic here when they critise other fighters for "Ducking" GGG using the Showtime excuses..Hmmmm double standard my brothers and sisters.

                      ggg can call out mayweather even tho hes at showtime

                      which one is it???? which one is it?????
                      Difference is that that GGG never called out Floyd - he was asked the question 'would you like to fight Floyd?' and said 'yeah', but he's never pursued it as option cos of the cold war. Fools saying FMJs ducking GGG are just trolling.

                      If this fight doesn't happen it will most likely be cos of the network beef.

                      It's a good fight and one that I'd like to see happening, but since it'll be HBO bankrolling it, and they don't really need Lara, he'll probably only get it on terms which are pretty poor for him, probably with options in the event of him winning, which GBP / SHO are unlikely to agree to.

                      It's nice to dream, but I just don't see this one getting off the ground.
