Why do some posters keep saying Floyd should fight GGG or Martinez at 154?

You're not a middleweight if you weigh-in at 154, you are whatever weight you weigh-in at.

Saying "middleweight at 154" is saying "waah waaaahh wahahh, he's too big for my Floydie", when in reality boxing works on weight classes, if you can make the weight you can fight.
if you're 3-0 with 2 titles, you're a part of that weight class

It is good win because JMM was just off of koing a guy Bradley was beaten clearly by and received a gift but at the time Floyd fought him he had never been above 135 ever and was fighting the best in the division.

Because great fighters keep wanting to challenge themselves. It would be a step up against a dangerous opponent.

I understand Money May is a businessman, but he isnt going to silence the critics when he fights massive underdogs every time.

Because they need him to lose and they need someone to be that guy. Martinez hasnt fought at 154 in years and years and i dont think GGG ever has. If he did take fight and win hell get no credit. Itll be Ward/Dawson all over again

Not really, Dawson was fighting a smaller man and had been at 168 before JMM never at 147.

Larry, would you rather see Floyd/Khan fight or better challenges of fighting GGG or Martinez @ 152 or 154? Floyd needs to start to back up his claim as the best fighter of this era.

Since then I***8217;d say his claim as the best is just a dream of his.
