Real answer!!
ok here is the best way to do this...I've given this thought before...
What should happen is after the main event.....they have another card or some kinda entertainment like a halftime show... while the judges watch the fight again on a small screen tv
12, 3 minute rounds is only 36minutes then the judges can come up with a real score and the fighters can come back from the dressing rooms and then the judges hand in their score cards..
problem solved!!!

The BBC ran an article on this a few years ago. What they wanted was 5 judges scoring and at the end of the fight throw the highest and lowest scores out and use the remaining 3. They argued this method meant it would be theoretically harder to corrupt the judges and that that there would be more honest judging because no judge would know if their score would count or not.

I agree with the elevated seating for judges. I also think they should introduce .5s to the scoring system. A guy whooping another guy the entire round but not knocking him down (I'd score this 10-9) should count more than having to give it to one of the fighters in a close round (10-9.5).

Elevated judges is something Joe Cortez has been calling for- for years now. As for the 5 judges I havent that one before but its a godamn good idea. Throw out highest in one favor and highest in the other favor and you should have much more accurate scorecards.

I actually thought of that a long time ago. Five judges decreases the risk of screw ups.
Also, ring generalship shouldn't even be an element in scoring. Ring generalship basically means who is dancing better in the ring. It is not a dancing competition.
Whoever lands the most punches and seemingly doing the most damage is the one that should win rounds.
Also, more 10/10 rounds. I've seen fights at least a dozen times and I always find a couple or a few rounds to score even because even watching the fight 6 times I still can't score it for one or another. Imagine having a few seconds to decide a close round.
Judges should be advised that if they have any doubt whatsoever they should be score the round even. That is fair.
Yet, few judges score 10/10 rounds and a lot of times it is the reason for lopsided decisions.
