They get credit for beating them at 145 and 152. If I were Cotto or Canelo, 2lb isn't a big deal for the money i'd be getting. But in terms of analysis of those fights, we don't have to care about the reasoning for the agreements, we have look at the fights WITH a catchweight and not fantasy.

I couldn't read the rest of your post
stay in context you dimwit and go with what we've both written.

you said in your own post that both floyd and pac don't get credit for their catch weight wins, you separated those two lines within context for delivery of that message within your post.

    you're not this ******, i know you're not.

what the hell are you saying about fantasy, you know that the fights DID happen, i know you did, and you watched them and could plainly deduce that both victors won on their talent and business dealings.

    walk away, boy.

I thought Cotto didn't fight at catch weights for Lineal Title fights?

Cotto's my favorite fighter because of what he does in the ring, and there is more respect in no catchweight but there is also more credit in fighting someone worthy. Cotto is fighting the MW champ of the world, the catch weight is dissappointing for sure but at the end of the day it's only 1 pound and Sergio said they would have been fine at 158. I don't really care as long as the fight gets made already.

It's an advantage that the disadvantaged Cotto is using, I don't agree with it, but it's not a huge deal.

Stax you have to change your undefeated nonsense in your sig.

Broner got beat up by a limited C class fighter. That now means Broner is D. Complete garbage Stax.

Who cares. Sergio routinely weighs in at 157-158-159... Makes no difference.. It's actually ridiculous to even ask for just 1 lb. unless they think Sergio is so out of shape because of the injuries and surgery that he's even gonna have a tough time making 160 itself.

Let's give Cotto credit for even moving up to 159-160 and challenging the lineal middleweight champion... There's some other so called best fighters in the world who fight virtual nobodies after they have 1 good win and call themselves the best. This cat has fought every guy you can think of and win or lose he always gave his all. I don't expect him to beat Sergio but at least I know he'll come to fight and it will be worth the $$$ on PPV unlike most of the garbage we have to pay for.
