Cotto asking for catchweigh againg Sergio Martinez

Cotto blame paquiao for losing the fight because of 2 lbs catch weight, but now cotto once again asking for a catch weight....what a ***** assssssssss .

    Cotto-Martinez at 159lb catch weight
By Rey Colón -The Sport Press

Miguel Cotto says when he and Sergio ‘Maravilla’ Martinez meet on June 7 at Madison Square Garden in New York, it will be at a catch weight not exceeding 159 pounds. Cotto, a world champion at junior welterweight, welterweight and junior middleweight, is looking to become the first Puerto Rican to capture four world titles in different divisions. He added that there is no contractual limits on what Martinez may weigh when he enters the ring.

Martinez is the WBC middleweight champion and allegedly there are only small details to fine tune to formalize the fight.

Did Cotto ever actually blame the 2lbs?

Can't see why Cotto would want to do this. It is only one pound and realistically won't make a difference. But if Cotto does the impossible and wins, people will say he won at a catchweight.

The reason he is asking for a catchweight is for mind game purposes only..he wants Martinez to focus on the weight instead of training...and the 159 was more then likely agreed upon in a negotiation, cotto probably tired for 156-157 and the agreed on 159..same thing he did with Margo

1lb? No way definitely asking too much lol
Sergio will likely weigh in at 159 anyway

yea a pound doesn't seem like much but it might for someone who hasn't fought in a year while rehabbing
