Speed and movement won't be a problem for Miguel. A few rounds here and there with Pacquiao should get cotto on board for sergio's tactics.

Also can't wait to see how well Martinez's hand on his side defense will do again a great counter puncher like cotto. If Chavez jr was able to touch Martinez with a weed and cereal diet, i can't wait to see what a blood thristy cotto will do. Guerra Miguel!!

GGG vs Marvilla is a massive fight PPV worthy, yet team Martinez opts for the easier route IMO it's a duck. If he is going to not fight GGG at least relinquish the crown or man up and fight the best.

And you know what fair enough marvilla has had injury problems etc. I will give him that, but if he doesn't fight ggg sometime this year. It's the cleanest duck in a while.
Martinez moved up from JMW to MW to fight Kelly Pavlik, and has fought bigger guys for the most part. Mostly by KO. Dude can punch too. What makes this guy Golovkin someone that Martinez has to duck? I'm sure the fight happens. The way fans be hyping fighters who can punch is ridiculous. Reminds me of Matthysse's hype. Fact is Golovkin hasn't KO'd anyone worth mentioning. He still has something to prove. The hype is premature.

He already said he aims to fight Golovkin before the end of 2014. Golovkin just fought Adama man, it's not like he is the epitome of a tough challenge. The guy lost to Don George, and Dyah Davis...come on now, those guys are jokers. It also looks like he has his sights set on Andy Lee and Kirkland as well.....yeah, the 154 pounder walking punching bag, James "Veteran Felon" Kirkland. Andy Lee hasn't done jack crap since getting beaten up by Chavez jr, the cruiserweight pretending to be a middleweight that Sergio beats the brakes off of.

DiBella has said time and time again Martinez isn't going to fight Golovkin for his come back fight but is open to it later in the year. Martinez has basically said the same. They're building up Golovkin. He'll probably fight Andy Lee next a Dibella fighter and since Kirkland is on the undercard of GGG's next fight he might face. If Golovkin beats Lee and Kirkland all the while calling out Martinez, people will demand that fight (assuming Martinez beats Cotto). Then the fight will make financial sense.

you're knocking his fight with Cotto? Cotto is the one who wanted the fight. they were actually going to back a few years ago but DiBella wanted too much. they got beef that goes back and seriously Golovkin's fans don't even compare to the Puerto Ricans that will pay serious money to see him. on spanish language TV that's the fight they're talking about, Golovkin gets mentioned but nothing like the prospect of Cotto vs Martinez. a victory over Cotto means a lot more in the spanish speaking world and if he loses he'll make a lot more money.

you can't compare Cotto's draw to Golovkin
