Last I heard he was looking for a fight with Quillin.

You ever watch X-Men and you got that giant Sentinel creating small ones, Geale, Murray, Barker, Macklin....those were Martinez and Sturm creations. They didn't do what was expected of them and truth be told, I may have heavily been rooting against Sturm but I had him beating both Murray and Geale live, didn't watch those again.

Ok, I'll give you Lara, but not by much. Angulo was on his way to stopping Lara if you ask me. Not to mention the draw with Vanes. Sure Lara was coming on late and taking over, but Lara's resume really isn't to far from Kirks.

If we're talking resume's and accomplishments at 154, the only one I "might" give you over Kirk is Lara. That's it!

I just don't see it. To me, he looked sub par against Barker and for lack of better words, just looked really weak.

C'mon seriously.Geale is a top conditioned twelve round competitor,who has great footwork,high work rate,power and genuine world class boxing skills.he's like a bad dream for the likes of Bika and Soloman.their footwork of anyone's I can think of is worse than anyone I can actually think of,and neither have an abundance of actual boxing talent.

Top Ten MW, Got the win over Sturm. Seems durable. High energy. The Barker fight was close.

He's in the mix with Murray, and Sturm. It's not hard to see why.

I had Geale for the win versus Barker.hes certainly on the level of Murray and Sturm if not above them.i would say he has a smarter boxing brain than both of them anyway.

Geale wouldn't draw with a crap fighter like Ortiz. He'd make Victor quit. Geale is scrappy, tough and fights for 12 rounds, something most hyped fighters can't even do. Geale does everything well, but nothing great, so he's a solid B fighter.

I think B isn't being generous at all.if Barker and Sturm are world class,Geale is too.

This whole thread is a troll thread.based solely to discredit GGG's next opponent before he's even confirmed,or a derogative preemptive snipe should GGG's handlers not manage to secure a fighter of Geale's calibre.

Frankly,it's pathetic,and sad.

He's a boxer-puncher with average power (at best), very good workrate and stamina and unlike most fighters does well in the championship rounds.

Besides Martinez and Sturm, Geale probably has the best resume in the division. He unified the WBA and IBF belts against Sturm and Sylvester. He also has some less notable wins against Karmazin (TKO12), Adama, Mundine, D. Dawson, and Ajetovic.

In his best win against Sturm, he started the fight boxing with Felix, which appeared detrimental as Sturm had the better jab. He then adjusted and closed the range on Sturm and outworking him on the inside. Unlike Macklin and Murray before him, he finished the championship rounds on a strong note and won a split decision.

I don't think he has a chance against Golovkin but who knows, he could come up with a gameplan that could frustrate GGG. He is also physically larger than Golovkin and probably has a better chin and workrate than anyone GGG has fought so far.

This will be GGG's biggest win should it happen.Geale will take GGG into the latter rounds and at the very least work him into making a few mistakes,something none of his opponents have managed to do or capitalise on.can Geale capitalise ? Personally I doubt it but a win over former champ Geale helps build momentum,keeps GGG busy whilst Martinez and Quillin hide out wherever it is they're hiding.

Those are really the only credible guys that ggg can face at middleweight,, Kirkland not considered since he is 154
