I can see if Jacobs gets up, falls back down, staggers around, etc.... But Jacobs got dropped. The ref counted to like 3 then stopped the fight.

Early stoppage in my honest opinion, but hey...

Also, Jacobs was clearly winning the fight

He lost consciousness on the way down.

Most had Pirog winning the fight. I know the judges had it for Jacobs. But they were in the minority.

Jacobs was landing more, but Pirog was landing the more significant blows. Wouldn't have gotten better from there, but you can argue that Jacobs could have gotten up

The ref had to hold him down from getting up... If you're gonna show the video, show the whole video, not just the slow motion replay of the knockdown.

Regarding the actual fight, Pirog landed the few more clearer shots, but Jacobs was winning off workrate and consistency.... He was also significantly outlanding Pirog... I had it 3 rounds to 1 for Jacobs...

The commentators were more surprised that Pirog was actually making a competitive fight with Jacobs over them actually thinking Pirog was winning

You hold Lamont Peterson's losses higher than Geale's wins?
Well I wouldn't put it like that. I just feel Peterson is the better fighter... I just don't think that highly of Geale regarding a potential matchup with GGG

            Ranking opponents for ggg

            1 serg. Busy with cotto
            2 quillen showtime
3 sturm. Fight long overdue, and sturm is a champ, gonna fight Murray
4 Murray got robbed vs serg. Gonna fight sturm
5 geale former champ, has some nice wins under his belt, only available guy

Those are really the only credible guys that ggg can face at middleweight,, Kirkland not considered since he is 154

He got KOd or was playing dead, either way, not a good look.

Ref got to six and waived it and Jacobs was held down. But he looked like a checked out customer. Most refs would have called it.

I don't see Quillin bullying him around the ring.

He's not like Guerrero who's the definition of chinny.
I mean, he almost got KO'd in the first against some guy who just got out of Prison.

Jacobs might be chinny, but I don't think he's as chinny as we're all thinking.
