I just don't see it. To me, he looked sub par against Barker and for lack of better words, just looked really weak.
I keep seeing his name thrown around as a worthy opponent for GGG, but I just don't see it
The middleweight division is insanely weak. Geale isn't a great fighter, but for the division he's better than most. That's pretty much why he's mentioned. If GGG is going to stay at Middleweight there aren't great fighters, but he has to fight the best Avail...Geale, Quillin, Sergio.

Not because he's a former unified champion that went to Germany to win both his titles.......

i agree with this..
geale isnt a special fighter or anything but he is a solid all around fighter and in a weak division thats enough to make him one of the better guys around.
golovkin would have to either clean out 160 and reign for a long time or move up if he wants to really prove himself on a p4p scale. no single name at 160 can elevate him too much.
but he is starting to rack up good wins, so he is headed in the right direction.
Geal is a solid boxer with great stamina who can brawl when needed. Don't forget he was landing power shot on GGG before he got knocked. Fat dan and bcambell have him as top 5 middleweight in the world and so do I. I think he hit GGG with more clean shots than any other fighter
