Think of what a Ward fight would do for GGG. You go up in weight, as a smaller MW and take on the king of that division. The king that is at the peak of his career in a legacy fight. This would skyrocket our GGG to heights unseen! Wouldn't you clamor for that?

I would hate for ggg to take money over legacy. Would you not agree?
Hero Bando does not want Ward to fight GGG, because he thinks GGG will lose. He wants GGG to fight Floyd because he thinks GGG will win. Simple

Remember what Floyd says, it's prizefighting. And a 2x, lineal, unified, reigning SWW champ shouldn't need excuses like too old, small to take on another guy at SWW.

I'd like to see both fights. Just giving you some reasons why Floyd would be more appealing. There's more: once he goes to 168 it'll be that much harder to drop to 154 for that huge money and legacy fight

Or lose 5.5 lbs to fight the biggest name in a mega fight?

Do the math, GGG already comes in more than a half a pound under the limit in all his fights at 160.

Also, I am by no means calling Floyd a ducker. I'm just rationalizing why he would choose Mayweather over Ward.
You're basically saying that GGG is taking the lower risk higher reward in here. The exact same thing haters are blaming floyd of doing. GGG wants the paycheck, nothing more

I've yet to have read his messages regarding any of that. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Floyd says he's the best ever.. You buying that too? I certainly hope not.

I tend to want the David vs Goliath fight. Small MW champion, going up a division to challenge the guy that no one seems to be able to touch. A guy that has taken on everyone at his weight with success. A guy who seems to have little vulnerabilities and would be a far better fight when it's all said and done.

Serious talk though.. Would you not clamor for a Ward-GGG fight? Imagine the invincibility that would follow GGG. He would have Tyson like fear with everyone from 154-168, possibly 175. He'd be the king of HBO. The premier network for boxing that has ratings far higher than any other network out there. How could you not want that?

            • Mayweather faced Canelo at 152, so there is no chance he would face Golovkin at 154. This fights a no-go.

Who says I don't? I'd rather see it sooner than later. But obviously the exposure you're talking about would be nothing compared to a knockout over SWW champ Floyd.

2.2 million wanted to see him fight Canelo!

Let's keep it honest. We know a Floyd GGG fight would be possible how? By the end of 2015? After Floyd's contract and he goes for that 50th? If GGG is tied up to HBO and blahzay blahzay then why would we not want two guys, in their prime, undefeated and on the same network duke it out for ultimate supremacy?

Certainly you don't believe GGG beating Floyd, which I think he would do at this stage, would be a bigger accomplishment then him defeating Ward, now do you?
