Think of what a Ward fight would do for GGG. You go up in weight, as a smaller MW and take on the king of that division. The king that is at the peak of his career in a legacy fight. This would skyrocket our GGG to heights unseen! Wouldn't you clamor for that?

Do the math, GGG already comes in more than a half a pound under the limit in all his fights at 160.

Also, I am by no means calling Floyd a ducker. I'm just rationalizing why he would choose Mayweather over Ward.

You're basically saying that GGG is taking the lower risk higher reward in here. The exact same thing haters are blaming floyd of doing. GGG wants the paycheck, nothing more

He'd be the king of HBO. The premier network for boxing that has ratings far higher than any other network out there. How could you not want that?

Let's keep it honest. We know a Floyd GGG fight would be possible how? By the end of 2015? After Floyd's contract and he goes for that 50th? If GGG is tied up to HBO and blahzay blahzay then why would we not want two guys, in their prime, undefeated and on the same network duke it out for ultimate supremacy?


Certainly you don't believe GGG beating Floyd, which I think he would do at this stage, would be a bigger accomplishment then him defeating Ward, now do you?
