Did GGG quit in any of his fights like Ortiz did? .... but thanks for the laugh!
i would like to see it honestly. if your gonna lose might well be someone fights 2 weight classes above ur walk around weight. i just wonder if ggg is to big for it to be realistic? im not talking want to see floyd lose realistic im talking a legit fair fight. i think ggg is to big for mayweather just my opinion. really canelo was to big but if he would not of fought canelo people would of said he ducked him

    • This thread is just a testament to how good Floyd is versus the other available and VIABLE talent atm. It's the usual array of ******s calling him a coward and a ducker for not fighting a MW All this time watching boxing, posting on bscene, and still no idea about anything. So sad. I'd say for GGG to fight Ward, but then again Ward also called out Mayweather.....

I don't know how you got that from my post. I was speaking hypothetically and highlighting the fact that fighting GGG is a lose-lose situation for him, as I'm sure you're smart enough to know. Its a high risk, low reward fight. If he wins, he won't get any credit for it because you'll say GGG was drained. I don't need to say what happens if he loses. Not to mention GGG isn't even well known by anyone except hardcore boxing fans, so it would probably do similar numbers as him fighting someone in his own weight class. So, no, I don't think this fight is realistic.

        • GGG is not P4P, has yet to beat anyone noteworthy, and is not all that well known yet. What puts GGG ahead of Lara for example? Hell his resume isn't as good Lara's. Not saying it won't be, just as of today it's not.

          • Would love for the fight to happen, but Sr puts fear in his sons heart not to take certain fights.

And none of this matters when someone as bad as Khan is being considered as an option.

P4P isn't a "what have you done" list. It's pure fantasy. Broner was put at #6 P4P for example and GGG is a hell of a lot more talented and skilled than that clown.

                • Seeems like the kind of fight Mayweather likes, catchweight and an untested fighter with a big name. But right now Mayweather is a little busy cleaning out the light welterweight division.

Khan even for as shyt as he is actually has a fanbase so there is a monetary aspect to it even though it is a complete shyt fight.

Sorry, but boxing fans have to acknowledge these other aspects of the game. He doesn't bring a resume, he doesn't have P4P notoriety yet, nor does he have a fanbase that he can sale false wishes to ala Canelo and Khan. Boxing fans make the mistake of thinking just because we like it everyone else would just think it's the shyt, but the reality is that he bring nothing to the table for Mayweather to gain.

Like I said what separates him from Lara at the moment? Lara would actually be more deserving of the fight.

A Mayweather vs GGG fight would easily outsell a Khan fight.

The Khan fight actually has a big chance of flopping. And Khan's "fanbase" is really over stated, especially after looking like shit over the years.
