I still don't understand why people keep insisting that GGG fight at 154. 31 years old and moving down an entire weight class is a bad idea and it could ruin his career. Of course, there's no way to tell how his body would react until he tries it. IF it was a guarantee that GGG would NOT be drained as hell then I'd say go for it.

For those who plan on bringing up Canelo or Khan, 1- I was never OK with the 152 cw. 2-The Khan fight is an absolute joke. I pray it doesn't happen.

They do it because it's a win/win situation. If Floyd somehow took the fight and lost, they finally found the guy to beat him and they can say he was overrated to begin with. If Floyd wins, they can discredit it by say it was a 154 version(drained) version of GGG, Floyd would NEVER fight him at his natural weight and he wasn't the good to begin with anyway(Kinda like Canelo)!

golovking has the style to beat floyd, being drained is the only thing that would save floyd. hence it's a risk. canelo who just stands in the center of the ring was never a risk.

Anyone that seriously thinks Mayweather has an obligation to take this fight is insane. GGG is a middleweight and it's been established Floyd is not even a Jr. Middleweight. Obviously it's a big money fight for GGG but not for Floyd. It's more realistic and legitimate to ask GGG to move up and fight Ward.

I agree (as the great majority of normal people) that Floyd has no business in fighting Golovkin...

Everybody wanted to see Floyd Mosley, this site had dozen of threars claiming Floyd was scared. Everybody wanted to see Hatton-Floyd, DLH-Floyd, Alvarez-Floyd. Mayweather got his fair share of crap fights (guerrero, baldomir, etc...) but he also gave fights people wanted to see, if no he would not hold two ppv records.

Why dont Golovkin give me one fight I want to see (ward-golovkin) instead of calling smaller guys for a paycheck and fighting garbage truck drivers after garbage truck drivers ?

So true. Same old story over and over. Guys like "Pac Boy" say "Floyd is ducking so and so." Fight happens, Floyd dominates, and then the excuses come. And on to the next one.
