You didn't grow up on the island and you don't know enough people from there. I know a lot of Cubans (surprise, surprise), and I don't know a single one that has a good thing to say about Castro or communism. In fact, I know a few that literally risked their lives to get to the United States. How often do people leave such a lovely country and risk their lives in the process?

it's got nothing to do with being cuban or having heard or read about it ..it's actually common sense if one has lived outside of the US in a third world country as i have ..and yes i grew up on an island where the rich gets richer and the poor gets pooer ..but with communismn ,atleast they are able to eat 3 times a day , go to school and pursue whatever **** they wanna pursue , get hospital care ..unfortunately not all 3rd world countries get that opppurtunity....and you think it's unfortunate to have fidel in to power?....think again

Here's a news flash, bro: People in Cuba don't eat three times a day, and the food they do eat isn't the best, nor in great quan******. Where are you getting this?

you think people fleeing cuba would get accepted freely had castro not ruled the country?...US hates castro reason why cubans who file for political asylum gets treated well..weLL , arent the government's job to better the lives of many ?..whch is more in a 3rd world country, rich or poor?..
