Only way Canelo happens is if HBO gains some common sense and lets Golden Boy back on the network. But remember, Canelo has three scheduled fights on Showtime. So that could be an issue. And has Martinez given any recent indication he wants to fight Alvarez? As far as I can tell, the plan is Cotto, maybe Rubio in Argentina, then Golovkin.

Martinez beats former super lightweight in Cotto and then GGG fights this geriatric Martinez who already had his chin shattered by Chavez and that will actually be his best fight. That is a horrible resume for a 32 year old
