    That's 2 fighters.
Link? I think he's a GBP fighter although K2 and GBP could maybe get it done on one of the Monte Carlo cards. It's a bad fight for Lara though, particularly at 160.

when is he going to fight someone who doesnt suck?

Martinez beats former super lightweight in Cotto and then GGG fights this geriatric Martinez who already had his chin shattered by Chavez and that will actually be his best fight. That is a horrible resume for a 32 year old
His age doesn't matter, Martinez is 39 next month. Golovkin has years and years of boxing ahead of him, his record will build, especially if he fights 4 times a year.

If Martinez doesn't fight Golovkin after Cotto......how could it not be seen as Sergio avoiding it??? Both are the same network, neutral promoters who should have no problem, and Golovkin would give up probably anything in negotiations to get in a ring with him.

canelo and floyd arent happening, he is contracted with hbo for 2 fights, 1 with cotto, and 1 of hbos choosing, and if they choose golovkin, sucks to be martinez

If Sergio retains his belt with a win and he still wants to keep it, he has to defend against Rubio.

That depends on if the WBC is cool with unifiying.... they might've changed their tune after Sulaiman died

You think he'd risk a Canelo or Floyd payday and get stripped to fight GGG? He'll fight Rubio all day and fight Canelo/Floyd and retire. That's his leverage to get them they will never fight him if he doesn't offer something for the resume. Ggg doesnt need Serg. At this point Sergio is just the man by default but we all really know he's old trying to monetize his career before heading out.

He already said that he wants Golovkin by the end of the year. If he wrecks Cotto and then there are problems making this fight happen, people will see that it was all a case of a promoter and a network thinking they had a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow when we all know that stuff doesn't really exist.

One after Cotto... and they already said no to Rubio, so Sergio is taking it to Argentina
