All the top names being scared is the reason Golovkin continues to fight whoever is willing to fight him.

It wasnt being scared as much as it was fighting someone that gets you money. Golovkin is a hell of a fighter but still hasnt fought anyone. Everyone's running, or is it that his manager sucks? Maybe a bit of both, but you cant blame Martinez for wanting his last couple fights to be big money makers and its not Martinez's fault that Golovkin is fighting Joneasdburgoera from the Reuplic of Fajasasgsstan in Africa or whatever. GGG, great fighter (although he still hasnt fought elite), crappy managing and still fighting nobodies.

HBO needs to force this matchup similar to how they are with Kovalev and Stevenson. Since GGG is pulling the greatest ratings of all those fighters you would think HBO would be bending over backwards for him.

Last I heard it's an option, along with Kirkland. Golovkin's people better insist on Geale.

They didn't turn him down, but they said they're exploring other options other than Geale.

Didn't they offer him the Feb 1st fight in Monaco but he turned it down hoping he can fight GGG on HBO?
GGG will fight 4 times this year barring injury, I'm sure he'll fight Geale in one of those. Hopefully it's Adama,Kirkland,Geale,Martinez. That would be a pretty decent year.
