How old are you? I'm beginning to think you were either a toddler, not born, or to young to remember when some of this stuff was going on in the early to late 90's.
I did understand your point. You said "when these guys beat Collins, Eubank, Benn and you call them C or D level fighters - what does that make Collins, Eubank, Benn etc"

How can I misunderstand what you're saying? What I'm saying is that it doesn't make sense, because those guys had still proven themselves on the highest level.

    Are you resorting to insults?

That definitely makes you more credible.

Possibly not. But I was responding to what I saw you say.

My apologies if u feel i was insulting u because those weren't my intentions. .. me asking ur age is a genuine question and still is because anyone who faithfully followed boxing during that time can confirm my above post/stance on UK boxing at the time, as did IronDan

        Resume > athletic talent.

That's what i dont like about fighters like floyd and roy that are very talented but dont have great resumes compared to other greats being put on such high pedestals and being ranked wayyy too high on ATG rankings.

Did I understand correctly that you sort of suggested that had Roy fought those guys it wouldn't be any better than what he fought, because he beat the guys that beat the Brits/collins? Was that not correctly interpreted?

Excuse me, calling me a toddler does indeed suggest to me that you were trying to insult me or belittle my understand of boxing, now and at the time.

Do u want to address my quote about the UK or no?

While we're at it, am i wrong? My guess is ur early to mid 20`s, no?

Again, we're adults on here and as a man, i apologized if i hurt ur feelings or insulted u, now if u cant get past that then tough luck cause im not gonna kiss ur ass n beg for forgiveness. ... get over it

Collins, Eubank, Benn etc were established champions and would have undoubtedly added to Roy's .
Nunn was completely washed up after the toney fight and did nothing of substance thereafter.... im not completely sure why u thought that he was a player in the equation

I fail to see how having prime Eubank and Benn wouldn't enhance any resume. They may not quite make the ATG cut but they were certainly near-greats.

That wasnt the argument my point got discombobulated

My initial point with sugar adam ali was even if roy fought benn, collins, Eubanks etc, he would just come up with another excuse on why roy wasnt a top atg

Thats the point i was making
