Seems the offer for pro fighters to take part are those with 15 pro bouts or less, I think Wlad simply HOPES he will be allowed by the AIBA, it's hardly set in stone now yet though.

Fritz is a young German boy who idolizes Wladimir. He watches every Klitschko fight and the brothers inspire him to start boxing. He trains hard in the amateurs, works his way up, wins tournaments. After years of hard work, little Fritz qualifies for the Olympics. He's the happiest kid in the world and on the verge of fulfilling his lifelong dream, winning an Olympic medal. But in his very first match, poor Fritz gets beat to a pulp by none other than his childhood hero, Dr. Steelhammer.

              cherrypicking at its finest.

well if the NBA can assemble a fantasy team to represent US, why not?

I like this experiment of allowing pros for the Olympics. Let's see how this plays out.

It would... but on the other hand it's unfair because he has years of championship experience against guys who're used to slap boxing each other
