He's the happiest kid in the world and on the verge of fulfilling his childhood dream, winning an Olympic medal. But in his first match, he gets beat to a pulp by none other than his favorite hero, Dr. Steelhammer.

It seems like it's the first step in AIBA trying to establish a global governing body.

It would be disgusting if it happened. However, I doubt they will allow it unless he partakes in various national/international amateur tournaments to qualify.

He shouldn't take away an amateurs chance at glory.

The promotional video has a touch of the sinister about it.

Their brochure sets out the particulars.

If you could embed the video for me that would be much appreciated. This site has never allowed me to do it.

Bearing a close resemblance to a Grizzly doesn't mean you can reach speeds of 35 miles an hour. It just makes you a bit of a fetish on the gay scene.

Jonnie Peacock ran 100 metres in 10.90

The only thing you'd do is embarrass yourself.

To be honest, I think and hope this is all pipe dreams for Wlad, he has no reason to cut short his pro career for pointless amateur honours which he has already achieved - if of course this would be a precursor to retirement - nevertheless; he has several things going against him in his 'dream' to do this. He is/will be outside of the age in the rules allowing pros to compete, and he will also have had too many pro fights. There shouldn't be much chance of him getting this spot in the Olympics and any win would be tainted or pretty pointless anyway having had all the pro success and experience.
