where did he say that? He didn't, it's always the same vague choice of words when ward's asked about golovkin. It's never "i want that fight", it's always "down the line" or "go ask them" or in this case "i got no problem fighting xyz".

Basically he just wants to say he's not ducking, but he has never actively pursued the fight himself.

Ward has Groves and hypothetically Chavez Jr. (who never fought in the division and he's busy right now). Froch, Shtiglitz or Kessler are almost retired by now.

I thought everybody at 60 was scared to fight GGG. You can't have it both ways homie. Outta one side of your neck you can't say "GGG has multiple options at 60." And outta the other say "he isn't fighting anyone because none of the top guys in his division will fight him." Can't have it both ways. Being "ducked" isn't an excuse to fight stiffss unless you're a heavyweight.

BTW, whomever Ward fights next will be better than this bum GGG is about to fight. I'm about as hardcore as a fight fan can be and I draw a black on who this boy is. Inexcuseable.

Sanchez went on record saying they were willing to do the Hopkins fight and Loeffler said they were willing to do Kovalev at 175 last October. They didn't sound like they were bluffing, but I'm glad they didn't make those fights.

golovkin and his team have no interest in 168 rite now. should have never said they did. as far as 154, i dunno how that works. for all intents and purposes they are staying at 160 come hell and high water it seems.

Golovkin and Ward are both very good fighters who have put on good shows, BUT...neither of them has truly broken into the realm of superstardom yet. They are both on the cusp of making it big, but they have to beat the big draws or fight each other. The biggest names that Ward has beaten to date are Froch, who hardly ever leaves England and Dawson, who moved down in weight & whom old man Hopkins softened up. The big names that Golovkin beat are Macklin, who hasn't been able to win the most recognized belts and Stevens, who talked his way into a shot largely based on his past. So if Golovkin and Ward want to convince people that they are each superstars and big PPV draws, they need to do less talking and more big-name fighting.
