Kirkland is an amazing and relentless pressure fighter as long as he has Ann on his ass. He is no joke.

I personally do not care that fighters have to keep "stepping up". Sometimes a very tasty nugget of a fight comes along and I want to see how it plays out. I love slugfests, and this one is guaranteed to be a barnburner.

I think the fighter that finally beats Golovkin will be the one that is too fast, not the one that backs him up.

I'd say yes he can fight going backwards. It's just not his best trait. He's very good at not having to go backwards. He makes you fight his fight. Your going to have to take a lot of pain to keep him on the back foot.

I actually would love to see GGG vs Kirkland, he's the only who was able to go toe to toe with angulo and win. His has the will, always dangerous, but he's too sloppy, and gets hit cleanly too easily by decent fighters.

What i want to see in this fight is how well GGG would take a shot from a puncher like Kirkland.

Cotto is a perfect example of that, great post man

Yeah I think it is a wonderful fight, as long as he is very warmed up before the fight starts. Kirkland throws short and very hard punches on the inside that are hard to protect against. GGG will need to be on his game and create space as usual. I have never seen anyone go into an inside exchange with Kirkland and come out of it without the look of shock on their face. He is an animal in there.

I don't think GGG caan fight on the back foot, at least not at the level we are talking about here. However i don't see anyone at 160lb or 154lb being able to push him backwards.

168lb is a different matter though

A lot of people are sleeping on ann and kirk similarly to how they did when he fought angulo... i was one of a select few that predicted kirk would get angulo out of there..

If kirk gets warmed up n the blood flowing it will be a very long night for ggg. ..

With ann in kirks corner, i know he can dig deep n pull out a rock em sock em ****er... i have yet to see what ggg has when put in that situation. .. he could drown for all we know when faced with adversity. . We just dont know... i say make the fight at 154 and lets see n stop all speculation
