Are you going to make a serious adult assessment on the matter or troll all night?

Because I feel it's a valid argument. GGG hasn't really fought backing up.

Like someone said earlier, a prime Kelly Pavlik would've been a damn good measuring stick. I remember when Miranda, similar to GGG, was KO'ing everyone in his path and was actually anointed by Hopkins as the next best MW to replace him until he ran into Pavlik.

Idk what you want me to tell you. GGG is pretty untested at the pro level. We can only go by the few glimpses that we've seen from the Ouma and Stevens fight. I personally feel he could be outboxed. Martinez prior to the Chavez fight would've UD'ed him.

I think the best candidate to answer your question is Chavez Jr. He's got size, chin and doesn't stop coming.

Hell, we didn't know Cotto couldn't fight that greatly backing up until the Mosley/Margarito/Clottey fights. Granted, the plasterman took a lot out of Cotto in the fist fight.

Cotto is another one that comes to mind as the unbeatable, search and destroy terminator like GGG.

I like Cotto, I'm just saying, we really haven't seen GGG's full repertoire and to anoint him as the end all be all is a bit absurd when we haven't really seen everything thrown his way.

I can't see Kirkland beating GGG.

And no, I don't think GGG is an unbeatable God.

Hes obviously a well schooled boxer with mad punching power. I bet all his opponents came in with a plan...until they got hit.

Let's be honest ...he has fought nothing but taxi drivers and sushi cooks. Ward can beat him but without headbutts as GGG is smaller than he is. Martinez has the mobility to stay away from those big shots but his best days are in his rear view mirror.

If Kirkland can get through the first 2 rounds, he seems to warm up and can absorb big punishment. Getting past that two rounds will be a tall order, but if he does it will turn into a helluva fight IMO.

I don't see GGG backing up to anybody in the ring weather it's Geale at 160 or Kirkland moving up to 160.

The only fighters I see making him back up is Martinez or Ward at 168. If he can make adjustments while backing up with distance and timing we will see if he's the real deal.

Only great fighters like Martinez or Ward can bring that out of him.

                    Serious as a hard attack.

Hopkins seriously crowned Miranda as the next great MW to take his place. I'm not going to go to boxrec, but at the time, I'm pretty sure Miranda's KO ratio was similar to GGG's right now.
