Nobody has the crystal ball and I don't pretend to have one. My guess though is that it wouldn't be a boring fight. Maidana would fight smart but taking risks, because he would really want to catch Floyd and win the bout. So Floyd could TKO him in the process. I wouldn't be surprised though if Maidana catches him first with something big and presents Floyd his first real challenge in a long time.

I'm sorry but I just don't see it. Maidana's fighting style is no different than any other fighter that has faced Mayweather. Another power punching pressure fighter. What skills does Maidana really have that may help him beat Mayweather besides a punchers chance? Broner is nothing like Mayweather, even though critics try to mix the two as being the same type of fighter.

Garcia as his trainer should definitely have confidence in his fighters, no doubt. But this type of fight has been done before, it's the same record being played over and over.

Maidana doesn't win a single round. Take that to the bank.

Honestly,no he can't. I like CHINO but the very few times BRONER let his hands go,i saw CHINO eat all punches. BRONER is not close to the level of FLOYD so why continue to believe or say that CHINO can beat FLOYD because he beat BRONER! If CHINO beat BRADLEY means something close to beat FLOYD but not a victory over that PUNK of BRONER!!!

The best welterweights in the world ( outside FLOYD who is number 1 ) are PACQUIAO and BRADLEY but JUNIOR doesn't fight them,he is so lucky to live in this **** boxing era!!!

Maybe you Floyie fan boys need to just shut up and let some of us discuss this idea. I'm not blind, I can see Floydie beats Maidana, but I'm also up on boxing enough to know Maidana is a different guy than the one who lost to Alexander and Khan. But I guess some of you don't do anything but talk. Why not watch Maidana's last 3 fights? No I guess that would clue you in to what he is NOW. Wouldn't wanna learn anything I guess. Again, Floydie beats Marcos, but he won't do it without getting tagged several times and ****** up as well. Maidana has some really strange angles he punches from, all with power, and many different ones. Floydie can't plan for all of that. No one can. I'm guessing Floydie wins 8 rounds, and immediately puts on his $20,000 shades for the post-fight interview.

Maidana is a better fighter then when he fought Khan.

And the bold is completely false on every level.
Explain why you think that's false. The guy pretty much said it himself and he has not showed a high boxing iq in or outside the ring. His current success can be attributed to his new trainer. Like I said low ring iq. And if you think he has a high ring iq it would still be considered low in comparison to Mayweather. Also Maidana has gotten better but not enough to compete with Mayweather and he still may not be able to defeat khan.

Just because people use past performances to justify their belief that Floyd wins easily doesn't make them a fan boy. If your a boxing fan you would know that most boxers who have fought a certain way their entire career will revert to that style once there getting dominated in the ring and have no ability to adjust. Maidana has not shown a high ring iq and will revert back to his old ways once he's deep in the water with Mayweather. He would probably punch himself out with in the first 4 rounds trying to out work and overwhelm Mayweather, because that's really the only chance he has. So it makes sense to bring up his past losses, whether you understand it or not.

                    Exacto.

Exacto! I cannot stand Floyd BUT Maidana would get his ass beat. He's a C Level fighter at best and poses no threat to Mayweather. Khan poses more of a threat with his skill-set and speed than Maidana. Hell, it was more of what Broner didn't do than what Maidana did. He won the fight but let's not forget that with all that power, he couldn't finish the smaller man off. He also tired late and Broner hurt him BAD at the end. A rematch with a refocused and more disciplined Broner, would be a different fight. A fighter wins one fight and these so called fans go crazy with their bogus logic. I even saw posters saying what MM would do to Manny and what Garcia would also do to Manny. Manny, Floyd, and Cotto are the three best fighters of their time. You think a C or B Level fighter is going to just beat them? Hell no!!!!!

Just thinking: now that Pacquiao has taken Bradley, Floyd wouldn't look good announcing a crappy fight against Khan.
