He has maintained the same 'gospel' he said immediately after the fight until now. I sure as hell trust his feelings over yours.
I have never said he was in total control, but there's no doubt he should have been allowed to continue. Froch landed about three half shots in the closing sequence. There's absolutely no grounds to stop a fight like that and it's really taking the piss on Groves.
What does that even mean? Why would he change his story? He's obviously going to play down how hurt he was. Like he plays down Froch's success in the fight.

Half shots?
his first shot landed with the wrist, then groves takes one on the glove. then he takes one or two the neck/face (whilst groves also throws) and the ref stops in.
They were by no means devastating punches. It was quite clearly an awful stoppage.
If only it had been degale. We would have never heard the end of it from you.
"everybody is against Arsenal".
Goodnight.
I don't think I've ever said it wasn't a premature stoppage but you are denying that clean shots are landing when there's slow-mo, close-up video evidence

Why are you saying he had no legs? He clearly got off the ropes before the fight was stopped and tried to push Froch back before being taken in a gridlock by the ref.

Of course Groves will say that.
He was clearly hurt and his legs were clearly unsteady. He wasn't out on his feet but his legs were unsteady.
Obviously he should have been allowed to continue but not to the extent an appeal should be warranted.
He's not going to win that appeal. There's literally no chance of him winning it. Hence why it's a ridiculous idea to even do it.

He also claims Groves didn't take any punishment in the fight.
the point is not that the referee was incompetent, but that he was inconsistent. froch was hurt worse than groves in that fight but for some reason he received the benefit of the doubt and groves didn't. that's corruption and should be a sackable offence.
