Nah. Floyd Sr. has said countless times that he believes his son would beat Pacquaio. But at the same time, he said why take that risk with a guy that's using drugs. He really, really believed Pacquaio was on drugs at that time. And that's also why the random drug testing came into play during the first round of negotiations.

He advised Floyd Jr not to take the fight without that random test. He was so concerned about the drug issue, that he even brought up how Pacquaio shouldn't be allowed to train in the Philippines. That he has to be on American soil getting tested.

You sure can, but more than that Floyd knows he has the upper hand and I seriously doubt he's going to be riding to Manny's rescue. Bob Arum painted his fighter into a corner, with false promises most likely but now the fever is breaking and Pacquiao doesn't like what he sees.

Floyd made Manny an offer, Manny thought he deserved more so he turned it down (more money than he's ever made in a single fight) and chose his own path. The path he took was devastating to his career and will more than likely leave him penniless for the rest of his life. But it isn't Mayweather's job to help him now, that job belonged to Manny himself and he didn't take it seriously. He took a calculated risk turning that money down and he went **** up, end of story.

Fans can be pissed at Mayweather's words but Manny's the one that mismanaged his career.

All of these latest statements by Floyd are giving us a hint of a Post-Loss reaction. Everybody is curious about what he would be like with a loss on his record but I'm starting to picture it.

This fight is going to happen. This is just the precursor to a deal being negotiated and signed. I'm thinking an announcement for late 2014. When the announcement will come is still the mystery. Hopefully by June.

Crazy how the world turns and by the time it's done a 360, everything is very not what it used to be. I bet Arum is kicking himself on the ass just thinking what it could have been had they taken the initial 40M offer.

            Too late now...

But you were scared of Margarito??? Jose Castillo beat you the first time??? You should have 1 legit loss, another loss if you faced Margarito, and a 3rd loss if you faced Pacquiao... It's a good thing you did what you did. You wouldn't be where your at now if you hadn't...

Here we go with this idiotic argument ..."he turned down an offer, more money he's ever made in a single" but this biased flowmo forgot that Mayweather was going to win the biggest purse of his whole career too. Too much work for your brain.

Pacquiao was robbed against Bradley and got KO'd by a top 4 p5p. Was Guerrero a top 10 p4p ? Canelo?

usually you see this much trash talk from a fighter to another when a fight between them is coming up. floyd's making a new trend, trash talk a fighter then duck him
