Who gives a flying f**k what Manny problems are floyd. What are you so Damn concerned about a person's financials. The bottom line here is the man wants to fight you but yet you act like a f'n drama queen and tell us that you are superior. So, prove it then and take some pride in your craft. Just man up!

Either you are secretly butt hurt with Manny's career or you are putting on a big show to promote your next pathetic fight. My guess is that it's both.

Find your balls and prove to the world that you are who you claim to be. Do it and I will respect you. Win or lose. Like you said yourself floyd.

"A hard head equals a soft ass". Seems that you are the one with the hard head.

Again, that is why if a natural disaster happened, he would potentially lose tens of millions of dollars, because most of the marketing and even the fight purse was coming out of his pocket. But the ROI is so huge, it's worth it despite the risk. This was during the HBO days though. Not sure about the details of the Showtime deal.

Floyd hasn't shared that experience of being ripped off in the past? And not by Bob Arum? I don't think there is an elite fighter that Arum didn't play financially. He's also gone on record to say that Haymon and Ellerbe manages his career business-wise. But he obviously still has a say because at the end of the day -- he is the prize fighter. Not Haymon, not Ellerbe. And for this same reason, that's why you saw 50 Cent having letters sent to try and persuade Floyd to get rid of Haymon. Haymon can't fire Floyd, but Floyd can fire Haymon.

I feel the same about Pacquaio. People kinda think Arum, Konz, Roach, are more powerful over Pacquaio than Pacquaio himself. But really, Pacquaio has more power than all of them. It's just a matter of him using that power or realizing it.
I'm not sure about post-Mosley, but for both the ODLH, JMM, and Mosley fights, they told Floyd what they would pay him and it was GBP who signed the checks. That is documented because part of what started so much of Floyd's hate for Oscar is he felt Oscar wasn't paying up all of Floyd's guaranteed PPV % and the same came up after Mosley. Now it is true that Floyd got the MUCH bigger cut in the JMM and Mosley fights.

And that Haymon and Ellerby handle the business side of it is exactly what I meant. Obviously they aren't sparring for Floyd or fighting for him. But his fighting isn't what gets him paid. It's the contracts and the smooth talking lawyers that get him paid. There are a HELL of a lot of really talented fighters out there that can't pay their own mortgages because they don't have solid people taking care of the business side of things. In fact, Pacquiao might be the perfect example. Someone who is a small step below Floyd (who at his prime would probably have beaten Floyd) but can't manage his personal/professional life enough to stay in the black.

I'm TOTALLY on board with the belief that Pacquiao leaving Arum and signing with Haymon would be the best thing for him. But the WHOLE point of this thread and my posts is this... it wouldn't make a damn bit of difference! Floyd is not fighting Pacquiao because he is an Arum fighter.... Floyd is not fighting Pacquiao because Pacquiao is PACQUIAO!

He should still sign with Haymon and retire even wealthier than he is, but he will never step foot in the ring with Floyd. If he signed with Haymon, Floyd would just say "he doesn't belong in the ring with me" or "he's not on my level" and he'd say it... and say it... and say it... until the years and fights passed by... Pacquiao is spent.... and he's finally proved himself right.

It Amazes me how this guy comes up with any ****ing thing to avoid this fight. Making bs offeres and asking for osdt was all just bs. The osdt worked in his favor though cuz PAC declined it at first and it made Floyd look like he's trying to "clean up the sport". While the fighters he promotes all fail drug tests.

Pacquiao was robbed against Bradley and got KO'd by a top 4 p5p. Was Guerrero a top 10 p4p ? Canelo?
What Mayweather was going to make is irrelevant because its Manny that's got the IRS breathing down his neck. Fans seem inordinately concerned with Mayweather's share of the purse and not the fight itself. Pacquiao's fans want parity with Mayweather at every level and that request is truly revealing.

Whether he was robbed or not robbed, the L is in the books, learn to live with it. When you get stretched how Manny was, it doesn't so much matter what the ranking of the guy was that did it, the fact remains he got KTFO.

I personally don't care for the once a day trash talk about Arum or Pacquiao but people on here need to stop pretending this is something new. Both sides have been going hard on each other for quite a while now. Manny usually uses his surrogates but every once in awhile he'll sneak in a back handed insult and of course Mayweather is always Mayweather. As a boxing fan it's hard to fathom how the biggest fight in years never got made because of a pre adolescent feud between the two camps.

I've always thought Mayweather is the better boxer and should win if they meet but if they're not going to fight they just keep their names out of each others mouths so all of us can go on with our lives.

some of you kats are funny....still saying mayweather is this and mayweather is that...but where that argument ALWAYS .....ALWAYS goes terrible wrong is when you start looking at the at forbes mag and the fortune 500 and see that this guy is the top paid athlete in the world....IN.....THE.....WORLD....more than woods, more than james, more renaldo, more than messi. not a fanatic just pointing out facts....but you'll still believe everybody's wrong and you're right.

Floyd should just take the fight. He can't go anywhere without being asked about Pac and Arum and he just makes himself look worse every time he opens his mouth. He's saying Bob called him a coward, so he won't do business with the best offensive fighter on the planet 7 years later.

Floyd likes to call himself a business man and the greatest boxer ever, but he will never be able to be considered great at either unless he makes this fight.

What kind of business man doesn't make the biggest deal ever because a former employer hurt his feelings?

What kind of boxer doesn't look to fight the best out there?

Manny said his kids asked him to do one thing before he retires "beat up Mayweather." Floyd is saying he won't fight someone because somebody called him a coward. Who doesn't want the fight?

So many of ya'll expose yourselves as new to boxing. If a mu****a genuinely got beef with somebody. The place they hit them is where it hurts, and that's in the wallent. DLH did it to Vargas. Ricky Hatton did it to Junior Witter. And right now, Floyd's doing it to Pac, and especially Arum. Floyd is not about to let Arum make money off him. He's gonna fight Pac. But its gonna be on his terms. And that means Arum isn't gonna be involved. Floyd has his guaranteed money. So the ball is in Manny's court. Step away from Bob, get the fight in 2015. Or he can hang with Arum, and continue to get ****d. Its his choice. And all the b!tches and hoes and cowards ya'll dumbasses call Floyd in internet forums isn't gonna change that.
