Perfect example of why Manny Pacquiao stays losing in and out of the ring, because his fan base is to emotional and delusional. Continue to let your bitterness and inherit bigotry consume you, because the fact still remain Floyd for the last two years has become the richest athlete in all of professional sports.

Just wondering out loud here .... But, how many of these keyboard warriors and internet tough-guys slinging the term "Coward" around, have actually been in a boxing ring or at the very least laced up a pair of gloves.

Gotta love the internet, where everyone's a tough-guy

But the bills surrounding the fights, especially when he was with HBO, is paid out of Floyd's pockets. So if let's say a natural disaster happened and the fight doesn't happen, it's Floyd that takes a big loss financially. Whereas, Golden Boy would be shielded from a loss.

The main difference is Arum ripped Floyd off in the past. But today, no promotional company can rip Floyd off, so by default Oscar has never ripped Floyd off. So he has little reason to hate doing business with Oscar, because it cannot happen anyway. Floyd can only rip himself off.
Well, when it is a GBP fighter, it isn't just a co-promotion flat fee. That is Schaefer and Haymon that hash that out, and don't think for a second Schaefer just sits back and lets Haymon make all the decisions. Schaefer is the snake of all snakes. This dude makes Arum look like The ****** de Guadalupe.

But I get where you are coming from on the being ripped off in the past. But Floyd has never really shared that experience. Arum has talked about it quite a bit and always described a very respectful working relationship with Floyd. I don't think anyone disagrees that Floyd made the right decision to get away from Arum, but don't let his bit talk fool you. That dude doesn't manage his own career. You see the way he blows through money? And lets not forget, three years ago it was HIM that had Uncle Sam tickling at his back door waiting to knock a shot off. He was in big tax trouble and he couldn't blame that on Arum.

No, his career is managed by Al Haymon and Leonard Ellerbe, both are well educated and stick VERY strictly to their gameplan for making Floyd the success that he is. They may say Floyd calls the shots but that's because they need to keep that dude happy... and Floyd is happy only when Floyd feels he's in charge. But SOMEONE behind the scenes... someone powerful... does not want this fight. I've heard many rumors that it was actually Floyd Sr. that put the bug in Jr.'s ear.

You know shit's bad when your own lawyer is asking to bail out of a contract. I just don't understand how someone could it let go that far. On the plus side, just a couple more fights under TopRank and he is home-free.

Then its time to fight the "coward".
