Team Pacman said they'd fight Miguel Cotto no higher than 148. That's a fact.

But of course, no one was going to cancel a bug money De La Hoya fight for medical reasons.

The second part, completely wrong. Floyd's boxing beginnings were as harsh if not harsher than Pacquiao's. His father forced him to start boxing from the age of 3, that's why his knuckles are so worn down and break so easily, so he can't throw with full power anymore. When Floyd was 14-16, he was fighting the top ADULT amateurs in the country, who often outweighed him by significant amounts in in-ring weight.
Uh sure thing, he should have picked up a world title or 2 for his efforts, in 3 rounders and sparring.

Dude how can you be so misinformed after all these years? You've made 100s of posts about this based on misinformation. Google "pac cotto 150" and out comes

Floyd fought an exponentially better Oscar, an undefeated Hatton, a fresher Shane Mosley, and Cotto at a weight he was more comfortable at.

When has Pacquiao beaten the better version of any common opponent's they've had? Maybe Marquez. That's one.

People who aren't actually involved in the pro fighting industry need to STFU with their idiocy.

Go to an inner city fight gym in Detroit and see if you last 3 minutes. Forget three rounds.

Yeah, your idol now has to sacrifice his own dignity because his own ******ity led him to mismanage his finances.

He should have accepted the PED testing from the very beginning instead of trying to dictate terms to the bigger PPV draw. He should have known his place.

Everyone has a right I their opinion.

But one thing that kills me is people forget that Oscar asked Manny to jump two weight divisions to meet him (who had to drop one) and made weight. I have a lot of respect Oscar because he's always been a scout.

Hey I'm sure Floyd didn't have it easy as a kid, same with most boxers. Still doubt he had it worse than Pac, before or after he turned pro as a blue chip prospect.
