when will people realize that bradleys achilles heel is power and timing.........bradley falls apart when he gets hit with good power shots (fell apart against provodnikov) thurman is bigger, more skillful and hits harder then provodnikov...........guerrero refused a fight (i personally see thurman stopping guerrero) porter is nothing special and would lose to thurman. garcia is 50 50.
You have Thurman beating Bradley? OMG, when will people realize that Bradley fought Ruslan's fight in order to prove something to the fans, and schooled the **** outta him, when he was fighting his fight.

And please don't talk about being a Thurman fan. I remember you and other Floyd fans calling his wins over Zaveck and Chaves overrated.

I remember that stuff, don't act like you guys weren't saying that stuff. LMAO. Buncha tools.

None of you guys are gonna have me outright hating on Thurman, because I've been a Thurman fan before any of you clowns, while the Floyd brigade was trashing the man, because he posed a threat to him.

Don't act like you guys weren't.

I like Keith but he still needs polishing. Manny will be too fast and will catch him too often.

        Pacquiao UD

And then also factor in that Pac can sneak in 4-5 shots on you, while Thurman can land the 1-2. Also, Thurman turns himself as he punches, and leaves himself off balance at times.

Pac shoots in with head movement, and shoots back out in a machine like motion. None of that off balance, turning like Thurman.

And no one ever said Chaves was a scrub. I'm saying a guy like Chaves isn't catching Pac like he did with Thurman.

          2 different leagues of fighters.
thurman has good distance and timing..........thurman in no way shape or form would try to out speed pac...........thurman would keep A smaller pac at the end of his punches and when he catches pac relaxing he would shoot quick bombs. (that would be his gameplan) thurmans size, timing and hunger makes him a tremendous threat to pac...........with his size & talent he could undoubtedly pull it off.

& i disagree......chaves would catch pac....anyone with good timing (like chaves) would catch pac......that was never one of pacs strong points. chaves style is A nightmare to pac compared to rios (and pac claimed rios hurt him)

Thurman has good distance and timing against non movers like Zaveck, Chaves, and Soto Karass. Great wins, but not even close to the level that Pac is, which is what we're discussing. Independent of him fighting Pac, I think he's an absolute stud, and he's Floyd's biggest challenger, other than Pac.

Now, onto some technicalities. Thurman does keep good space, and can move well, but he only really lands the power, when he sets his feet, and jumps you. His jab isn't all that either. It's his ability to cover short distance with his feet, then ambush you. Sort of like Pac, except Pac is much quicker, and uses much better head movement.

When you said, "catches Pac relaxing", are you referring to when PEDs JMM caught Pac with the right hand in the 3rd round? Other than that, I've never seen someone outright catch Pac while he was relaxing.

You make him sound like a Danny Garcia level timer, because his style is ambush, and he's fighting slow plodders. Let him get into a high speed chess match with a guy like a younger JMM, or a Pac. Your eyes ain't used to that level of boxing until you've faced it, and in Thurman's case, he'd be facing that for the first time against Pacquiao.

OK, I have no doubts Chvaes would catch Pac, but what does that matter? Chaves is the one that's dealing with the huge speed deficit, and can't let his hands go like he'd want to, because of that. You make it sound like, "boom, Chaves caught him, game over, Pac loses."

You fail to realize the problems that Pac poses to Chaves.

Don't mind him. He wasn't even a fan of Thurman until after the Soto Karass fight. In fact, other than a few Floyd fans, none of them were.

He's only using Thurman now, to get Pac fans against him or something, and now Thurman's his favorite.

you are a clown...........when did i hate on thurmans wins against chaves and zaveck? I've been following bradley since the olympics. and I've been following thurman when he use to train here in houston. (i bet you didn't even know that thurman was dropped by a body shot out here against a guy named johnson years years ago) I've been following his progression. you just started watching thurman and heard that he was a threat to your favorite fighter so i guess you decided to pretend like you knew anything about him haha

bradley was FORCED into a war because he was hurt..........the power almost got bradley out of there. yes........i know how thurman plays the distance game (i know what both bradley and thurman can do) and thurman would light bradley up..........

                    mmmmmm hmmmmmm.......

That's why I was in the Thurman against Chaves thread, and you specifically called his win over Zaveck an overrated win, and even called Thurman overrated.

And if you're really keeping it 100. You know damn well, I was one of the few people that were riding the Thurman bandwagon far before his win over Soto Karass.

I swear I was probably the first person to rock a Thurman sig. Then the rest of NSB pops up with a bunch of Thurman avys after his win over Karass.

I swear to God, you said his win over Chaves was overrated as well.

                    Stop lying, dude!!!
