Pacquiao's speed will seriously trouble Thurman and before he knows it those stinging shots will be coming in flush.

Pacquiao is just too fast, too good, too experienced.

Thurman does beat Floyd though, Floyd is nowhere near as dangerous as Pacquiao is. One Time will walk down Floyd and smother him with punches until Floyd quits.

I'm not even sure Thurman could beat Paulie, let alone Manny Pacquiao.
And can we be completely honest. Does a fighter like Chaves land that much on Pacquiao? HELL NO......

C'mon guys. Don't overate Thurman to the point where he gets annoying.

Skimming through the post, that seems to be the case. I wouldn't mind seeing him lose to bring him back down to earth.

chaves would land more then rios thats for d@mn sure.........chaves was a real welterweight with huge punching power and good timing (young and hungry) the type of fighter that pac should stay away from (high risk)

pac said that rios caught him and hurt him badly to the chin (i don't see how because rios didn't really land anything) you would have to be crazy to count out a young powerful hungry Thurman (this is NOT rios)

Don't wanna see him lose, but yeah, he's starting to get up there in hype.

And if I'm gonna be completely honest. I think Bradley, Porter, Danny G would beat this guy, and Guerrero would make him work his ass off in there.

How is HE annoying? You mean, his fans are annoying?

It don't make sense to hate a guy cause of his fans...it's like me saying I hate Pacquiao because of his idiot/racist/troll fans from BoxingScene.

Chaves does have timing, and Thurman's style of throwing, and leaving himself wide open afterwards helped it a lot. The speed difference between Manny and Thurman is not even close. Then you factor in that Pacquiao is a million times more accurate, and doesn't miss as WIDE as Thurman, and you've got less to counter.

And then also factor in that Pac can sneak in 4-5 shots on you, while Thurman can land the 1-2. Also, Thurman turns himself as he punches, and leaves himself off balance at times.

Pac shoots in with head movement, and shoots back out in a machine like motion. None of that off balance, turning like Thurman.

And no one ever said Chaves was a scrub. I'm saying a guy like Chaves isn't catching Pac like he did with Thurman.

                  2 different leagues of fighters.

you have bradley beating thurman? omg...........

when will people realize that bradleys achilles heel is power and timing.........bradley falls apart when he gets hit with good power shots (fell apart against provodnikov) thurman is bigger, more skillful and hits harder then provodnikov...........guerrero refused a fight (i personally see thurman stopping guerrero) porter is nothing special and would lose to thurman. garcia is 50 50.

I didn't him in general, I meant his NAME. Like every time you hear his name, you just know you're gonna see some noobs talk about, "he's the best, he's taking over".

And guess what, I was one of the first ones to rep Thurman, when everyone was saying how he's OVERRATED. And guess what? It was all the Floyd fans like pigsfly, and them that were saying that.
