Thurman is so overrated it's embarrassing. Today's Pacquiao still beats him, and a prime Pacquiao would have sent him to the morgue. Danny Garcia, too.

Some of you guys are acting as if some matchups like Pacquia vs Thurman or Pacquiao vs Matthysse would magically happen if only he would leave Arum. Thurman and Matthysse are unpopular low reward/high risk fighters. The chances of those fights happening would be slim to none even if he went to Golden Boy. There's a reason why Floyd is fighting Khan, not the Thurmans of the world.

Really, the only worthwhile Pacquiao fight that the Golden Boy/Top Rank feud is currently preventing is against Danny Garcia.

100% agree. Thurman is a freakin' beast and I'm amazed how young he is. He's only 25 even though he looks 35. In the next couple of years he'll probably be champ. He's just massively talented.

Thurman will try, he will not turn into a shell... or so I think. Pacquiao's power will turn anyone into a shell.
                You got it right here.

Thurman has great power but his ring IQ and speed are too low to make his power effective against Pacquiao

Man we really need to tap the brakes on the hype train for a second. I like Thurman's potential but we're talking about a guy who's signature win is a 9 loss Soto Karass. Who by the way was in trouble early against Soto Karass in that fight. Now he's a lock to brutally KO Manny Pacquiao? Lmfao please

I'm not even sure Thurman could beat Paulie, let alone Manny Pacquiao.

Pacquiao has the experience. I don't know how much he has left though.
