They should rule against having these regular and super titles. It gives people the chance to manipulate the system. I don't blame Murray's team for trying to exploit it

Here's to hoping Fletcher pulls the upset so we finally rubbish the tales of Murray the Duckman.

Well... aren't you surprised as well? They just upgraded Shumenov to super, so they're clearly not beyond doing that yet... plus the whole Lebedev thing.
Plus it looks like they can still be influenced since they backed off their order of V12 and Walters.

I'd really like to know what their intentions are or wtf is going on here.
Because making Murray the regular is more beneficial to them money wise.

So that's one fight in 2014 already marked up
The way his team was talking, it sounds like he might be finished. I haven't heard anything since the fight but I didn't get a good impression from it at all.

May have just been their teams initial reaction... we haven't really heard a follow up here.
Weebler posted this... so there's a chance, nothing in stone whether he's retired or not

Hearn: “Barker will definitely want to fight Felix and he’ll want a rematch with him, it’s just whether his body allows it.

“If he goes to the specialist and it’s something that heals in six weeks, then he may go again, but if it’s really bad and he couldn’t fight in the next six or seven months I’m pretty sure that he’ll never fight again.

He had one too many chances. He was such a coward in there with Golovkin even Stevens stood his ground. Macklin should go and win British title and start from there and go at the back of the queue

Then theres ppl that legit thing Calzaghe was an ATG which is cringe worthy.

Murray will get owned by Sturm as well and then he'll beg for a Golovkin fite. That is if he can get past "iron jab" fletcher

But hell..I really thought Murray would get onto this one. F#kk... the kid is really at the prime of his career - has a mandatory shot - and even without it would have probably the best opportunity of his career in breaking the US market....

I hate disrespecting fighters... but damn...
I can understand what he's doing... just don't see it as too unrealistic. If it happens, good for him.. he should pursue it... but just doesn't seem realistic this year.
He's holding on to the idea that a fight between him and Sturm can really happen because Sturm mentioned his name like we are when Murray said he'd be open to fight Golovkin.

I just don't see him getting the leap on Sturm's other perspective opponents

GGG should just move up, seems like he's wasting his time looking for live opponents in the MW division. Although it's not his fault people are ducking him, father time waits for no one and if I'm not mistaken he's already 31 years old. He should be able to get some fights at 168lbs, put some decent money in his pocket.
