Not a win/win for the fans but it is for Murray and his family.
You mean fletcher, Murray is not facing sturm.

I'm sure he's feeding his family much better fighting on golovkins undercard for much less money. Hopefully he doesn't almost lose like against the last guy, feeding his family will be much tougher

I get the position he's in... he wants to get a bigger fight with Sturm. But like I said before... is he even on Sturm's radar?
Right now he's just waiting to try and get a Sturm fight.
Maybe he can make decent money fighting domestic contests with Macklin or Lee... but Golovkin would give more money than them.

Good for him if he can land Sturm next year...it's just highly unlikely that he does.

Goddamn...well we'll see...**** ...I can understand why the IBF carousel is more interesting to some guys than the risk of ending up writhing on the canvas or beaten to **** sitting on the stool with a camera shoved in your face.

But hell..I really thought Murray would get onto this one. F#kk... the kid is really at the prime of his career - has a mandatory shot - and even without it would have probably the best opportunity of his career in breaking the US market....

I hate disrespecting fighters... but damn...

It's kinda obvious the thinking behind the Fletcher fight. He becomes WBA "regular" champion and that's now considered a "world title". Bargaining chip.

Damn, looks like Golovkin turned down the offer of Murray bringing a baseball bat with him in the ring.

Bargaining chip.... for Golovkin or for Sturm?
I understand for Sturm, so he can have Golovkin's belt without having to face him

He could have had the WBA belt a long time ago, and not by fighting bum and for more money. But of course not, belts only matter when it's a vacant one against a nobody

He only wants a bargaining chip when it's against a nobody, nope Thats not a duck

Sturm. Unify the WBA regular and IBF. Froch and Kessler did the same "unification".

Well, glad the WBA ruled against it then
