Possibly not, but he should if he really wants to fight Golovkin. At least then the boxing public could put pressure on HBO demanding the fight. Because that's the real story of people avoiding GG, for the better boxers in the division the money offered is too low to fight what looks like the best and most dangerous fighter in the division.
He is...but I don't think he wants to lose the Sturm payday, since that's the one everybody wants. Plus Sturm has a belt and presumably more money.
Honestly, I don't know how much they're paid over there. Do you? I just know Murray got some cash to go over there.

As for that, they shouldn't give straight numbers out.... leave that to them.
Not even Stevens gave out a number, but said 300k wasn't worth it
    :/
he made like that much in the end

No, only thing I've read is that Macklin got $410k in 2011 and obviously Barker's huge $1.4m purse (presumably since he brought a belt).

Sturm seems to be the fight they all want, so I'm guessing it's the one that pays the best (or at least offers the best risk-reward).

Mora did, albeit it didn't help him much in securing the fight.

So I would imagine Murray got ballpark with Macklin

As for Mora, I prefer that to Adama... Monaco is the only place they can fight unless mora does something big. Maybe white washing Stevens or beating Macklin

Either way, HBO hate him, so we most likely won't see him on there

It must be so frustrating for Golovkin and his camp when everybody ducks this guy for one reason or another. HBO had to sweeten the pot in at least two of his fights just to get fighters in the ring with him. I guess they will have to do the same thing in 2014..

When guys get into the ring with GGG they know what they are getting into, PAIN. Jus ask Sturm guy did literally everything in his power to duck GGG.

That's the problem with fighting GGG tho innit. It ain't that guys are emotionally 'scared' to fight him, simply that it's basically assumed by all sides that they are gonna lose and most likely be stopped...painfully.

This means that anyone fighting him is calculating in not just what they'd demand for a normal fight (where the risk of loss is balanced by the promise of greater gains in the event of a victory) - but also what they believe is likely to be a sharp reduction in future earning potential.

Ironically, for the slightly lower level contenders - Rosado and possibly Stevens, they both got a good payday and have seen a rise in their stock subsequent to fighting Golovkin (and lasting past 6 rounds).

Any of the MW top ten 'pack' simply has to look at what happened to Macklin to imagine their future earnings dribbling away. The s#ite is ridiculous, but unless HBO are gonna start coughing up close to million $ paydays, the MW pack guys ain't gonna see it as worthwhile.
