Does anyone actually think Cotto vs Martinez is competetive?

If Martinez comes in healthy I don't give Cotto much a chance. Martinez has an advantage in all categories except for the jab and body punching.

If the fight when both fighters were at 147 I go with Cotto but at 160 its a different story.. but martinez will be coming off a long layoff after he just got beat by murray so u never know.. depends if cotto comes in around 157 he wont be too slow and sluggish.. if he comes in at 160 he gets stopped cos his stamina wont be there.. that weight issue is a big deal but the bonus is that cotto moving up not down so he wont be drained.. could be a good fight when you think about.. lots of intangibles

If Martinez is fully fit coming into the fight, he will absolutely annihilate Cotto.

I know a lot of you guys are favouring Martinez in this fight because of his size advantage, and that will no doubt have some sort of bearing on how the fight goes, but Martinez is a better p4p fighter than Cotto imo, the size advantage is just a bonus.

Only the stare down will be competitive

Didn't see the fight, heard it was horrible. But any other time I've seen him fight he always shows good second half stamina or at least the ability to turn things around but I don't see him losing this fight.

If Martinez fights like he did against Murray hes going to lose. Not to mention hes a year older and coming off a bad surgery

To Martinez's credit, and I do agree with the bold, Martinez pushes through it. He was breathing heavily against Pavlik but never stopped letting his hands go,

Martinez's reflexes aren't as good as Trout's. Unlike Trout, Sergio won't be able to avoid getting tagged by Miguel's quick stiff-arm jab and the follow up straight and left hook.

Cotto is going to get a beating. I just don't see a way he wins. Martinez has been hit by much bigger punchers than cotto. He was able to hold off and beat up a damn Light heavyweight in chavez jr. How in the world is cotto gonna be able to get close to Martinez to land punches?

Cotto does not have a right hand which is an essential weapon against a southpaw. He is shorter in height and reach and he is not faster. Martinez is going to have a field day with his left lead and punish cotto everytime cotto tries to come inside.
