Does anyone actually think Cotto vs Martinez is competetive?

Cotto is a beast and was very competitive against Manny and Floyd but if Martinez is healthy its going to be the same end result, a late KO or TKO for Sergio. Hes been fighting at 160 for years, taking shots from guys MUCH bigger and stronger the Miguel. I like both guys and can't wait for the fight either way. Cotto is a true warrior in any case, the guy fought everyone and never backed away from a challenge. He deserves all the money he can get his last few fights!!

Cotto is a proven punching bag with some heart. What in your right minds make u think Cotto can stand the power of Martinez? No way it happens. I just see this ending early I see Cotto getting brutally KO'd ala Pwill. Props to Cotto for having the balls to fight maravilla!
After this damn fight sexy Sergio better fight Canelo or GGG or just fawking retire! FYI he is one of my fav fighters maybe all time but I'm tired of his bs and ducking. He isn't a draw so just go out and fight the best and place your stamp on the HOF!

God no it isn't competitive. Cotto can't fight southpaws, he is small even for 154, Martinez is bigger, faster, punches harder and is more athletic. Cotto has no good wins for years and his claim to fame is basically giving little Floyd a bloody nose. The fact is this is a showcase fight for Sergio and its obvious as hell. Cotto is shot. Having yet another trainer and beating a nobody does not make him any less shot regardless of the confidence boost it gave him. Martinez can drop him with either hand and has taken shots from far bigger men. Plus he hides his body well. I'm a Cotto fan but I'm betting all my points that Cotto not only loses but gets stopped. Once its signed pm me if you want it. Its a terrible mismatch.

Cotto breaks a sweat?! For real now...

Cotto's body shot ain't that powerful near 160.

Look the history of Cotto against southpaw....predictable is that his face will be puffed up, swollen and bloody. Lips cut. Breaking a sweat? Nah...break lots of facial skin buddy.

Dont get it wrong bro', its not bias....its called "Im fair, and Ill call it as I see it".

Its a true 60/40 fight with odd on Sergio. Im not blind, but I have been following Cotto since his amateur days, when I was a bit younger (Im 45) and Im a fan of his style, courage and abilities.

He could have taken an easier fight on Canelo (yeap, much easier fight) or go with Molina on a dirty fight and get a belt but he went for glory and take on Sexy Sergio who is the Man at 60.

You have to give credit where credit is due brother! Cotto all the way!

Cotto is not a punching bag! He gave Manny and Floyd both a good fight. He shouldn't even be at 154 never mind 160! Sergio may be just as shot a fighter though so who knows what could happen..I'll take Sergio by late stoppage.
