Problem with Showtime is that they are dealing with a fake PPV star.
They still have to support him with strong undercards that cost
extra millions of dollars. Not to mention the staggering amount of
promotional expenses. It's like buying a refrigerator and you have to
buy a separate freezer. They're losing money with this guy.
Just imagine, they would have to sell 550K PPV to pay for his
guarantee alone.

Look at what you're saying though. If Showtime had an ounce of believing that Floyd was the problem. They would have been come out and said it. Floyd probably has to do 1.5m ppv buys for Showtime to turn a profit. Right now, Pac is probably the only guy that can bring that number. So as the president of Showtime, why further assist Floyd in ducking Pac. Which in the article he would be doing. If its gonna cost the company even more money? The only thing they can do it seems is threaten Floyd with not going through with anymore of his remaining fights. I don't know why this Espinoza fool is putting his two cents in besides the fact that Floyd and his team said they would not work with Arum which is already public knowledge to begin with. I'm sure Arum is culpable too but even he knows he has limited time left to make money off of Pac and he has publicly said that he wants to make the Pac-Floyd fight this year. The more Arum shows interest in compromising, the more Floyd and his people are focusing on Arum as a deal breaker. I think Pac doing testing is a step in showing they are willing to meet Floyd's demands but that won't be enough.
Taking a loss of millions per fight makes no sense at all so something has to give at some point.Comment

Quit pulling numbers out of your ass. You think Showtime would sign Mayweather up for 6 fights if they knew they had to get 1.5 million buys a fight just to break even?Look at what you're saying though. If Showtime had an ounce of believing that Floyd was the problem. They would have been come out and said it. Floyd probably has to do 1.5m ppv buys for Showtime to turn a profit. Are you a b!tch. Cause you sound like one. The basis of the contract is that unless Floyd pulls in bigass numbers Showtime is gonna lose their ass. Guerrero tanked. Khan will tank. Maidana will tank. The only fight out there right now that turns Showtime a profit is Floyd-Pac. So why in the name of common sense would the president of Showtime protect Floyd, which is gonna cost his company millions. If you tthink these folks just love Floyd so much they wanna just hand him phat checks for the hell of it. You're the ****in' moron b!tch.Comment
