(Against the suggestions of everyone breathing around Pacquiao he decides to enter Arum's office alone so all he he has is his press script memorized. Pac starts to sweat as negotiations continue.)

MP: It depends on my promoter.

(Arum is quiet for a second, he reaches into the drawer and pulls out a cigar cutter, still eyeing his clueless mark.)

Arum: Hey Manny, its okay kid its me, we're trying to sign some more papers so we can keep doing what we're doing. I think we're doing pretty good Manny, I even bought you a custom padlock for that house the IRS seized, its pretty blingy Manny.

(Arum erupts in a raspy laugh before he stops abruptly to get to his point.)

    Arum: Right Manny?

MP: It depends on my promoter.

Arum: Manny, I'm your promoter and we have a sweet deal here for you, are you going to sign it?

(Arum's tone start to get a little elevated.)

    MP: It depends on....

    Arum: On What?

    MP: My promoter.

(Arum slams the desk drawer shut out of frustration, while Pacquiao stares off into space putting together a grocery list to help feed the bottomless gut of Buboy.)

Arum: Alright Manny just sign this paper and we can set up that sixth Marquez fight, heh everybody loves a good fight. (Arum's thoughts: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, I don't even have to try anymore. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha....)

MP: It depends on my promoter.

Arum: Okay Manny just sign on the line and get the **** out of my office okay?

MP: It depends on my promoter.

Arum: That's what I'm saying kid. I'll get you another advance to help you out for a couple month, try to make it last Manny.

(Arum snickers and Pacquiao signs the contract then exits the room with the same vacant look that we've come to know and expect. As the door closes.)

Arum: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.......

    • sure, deflect the topic.

it doesnt change the fact that arum is a notorious scumbag and that his fighters are trying to go to GBP or elsewhere.

Ok whatever. Are you finally getting how good Rigo was treated by TR? Lara fights in a hot division, but undercards only for less than 200k. And was just in a barnburner vs Angulo and got shat on by his promoter. And of course doesnt get to fight the money guy, wiith no real title shot yet. They rather give it to Vic Ortiz

The point here is when all else fail, play the Arum card. The danger for Floyd here is what if Pac calls his bluff again and really leaves Arum? Any guess about Floyd's next excuse?

                  • Let's be honest for a second.

Juan Manuel Marquez will never fight Manny Pacquiao for the fifth time no matter how much money you give him. Not because Marquez is scared of Pacquiao but because he knows he can't knock Pacquiao out again like what he did in their fourth fight. Like he said he wants to take that memory with him for the rest of his life and that the chapter is done. To Marquez that's more important. Period.

At the same time regardless of what people think. No amount of money could have made Lennox Lewis get in the ring with Vitali Klitschko for the second time. Lennox Lewis knows he got away and fighting Vitali Klitschko again would have been his biggest mistake. He won and to him that's more important. Period.

Same thing with Mayweather Jr. He knows in his heart Manny Pacquiao is a risk he's not willing to take no matter how much he gets paid. Maintaining his zero is too important to him. Period.

I'm sure there are more examples but I'm really tired right now. I hope I've explained it well. There are just those instances when no money in the world will push a fighter to get in that ring. Those three examples I gave are 100% true no matter which fighter you are rooting for.

                      u're absolutely correct sir

However bunch of idiotic Pacquiao's fans still cant get it.
Ironic how zuz addresses Espinoza being "absolutely correct sir" and those who don't "get it" are idiots, when zuz doesn't realize that we who do get it can see through the backward logic and idiocy in Espinoza's words.

Notice the key phrases in Espinoza's frustrated explanation of the excuse conveyed to him by Floyd:

                      "Floyd is not the issue."

"...a promotional conflict is the issue."

QUESTION: WHO is declaring the promoter as a conflicting issue?

It's all back on Floyd, who was NOT making it an issue during...how many negotiations now in the past? Two, three or four prior negotiations? Isn't the person who is claiming Manny's current promoter is an issue really the originator of that issue? Isn't a person who claims to want it anytime, anywhere, but NOT with that promoter presenting an ISSUE or an obstacle to getting negotiations started?

In other words, Espinoza's first sentence is a LIE. Floyd is not an issue?!?! GTFO!!! Floyd is making the promotional conflict an issue, so HE IS the issue. I thought Floyd was his own boss. If so, he should fire or override whoever it is on his team (IF it's not really himself) who is making the promotional conflict an issue that's desperately holding him back, tying his arms up behind his back, preventing him from aggressively moving forward to that negotiation table so he can finalize that "anytime, anywhere" provision, so he can make "easy-work" out of that "one-dimensional" "yellow midget" in the ring and further justify his bragging rights of making a world record breaking payday.

So what do you say now, zuz? Who doesn't "get it"? Who doesn't see the conflicting/contradictory words through the smoke screen? Who are the idiots now? You and your fellow Floydiots can get back on that short yellow bus back to Floydie Town.

Here's what I'd like to see happen next. Manny pays Bob a step aside fee, and he signs a one fight deal with any other promoter except GoldenBoy or TMT. Then we'll see what new obstacle Floyd throws up.

"Anytime, anywhere, any promoter except TopRank?" Okay...how about on Manny's birthday...in Macau, Manila, Cowboy Stadium or anywhere else but Las Vegas...and promoted by Floyd's old buddy Fifty Cent's SMS Promotions, or Mike Tyson's IronMikeProductions? LOL. I can imagine Floyd having electronic security measures to screen Fifty or MT before they enter the negotiating room just to make sure they don't have an ear wick in their ear where they hear Bob guiding them through the negotiations. LOL.
