I'm sure Broner would agree to his terms but is that a fight you would pay $70-$75 for?

      • So it's official that for the past few years, the excuse went from DRUG TEST to LEAVE BOB ARUM. And it's fucking hilarious how a lot of Floyd fans just ignore the whole DRUGTEST debacle as if never was the issue.

This is SERIOUSLY getting embarassing to the point that only a few number of Floyd fanatics on this board are left defending Floyd. My guess is that the real ADULT Floyd Fans on this forum has given up defending FLoyd so you're left with same douchbags fans - who I'm convinced are part of TMT or Floyd's family members. NOBODY can be this dumb.

My own belief is that it would take a huge problem for Phoney Phloyd to change his habit of the past 7 years. before this Showtime deal, he'd had about 4 fights in 5-6 years, and now he's fighting on average every 5 months. This could only have been because he needed the money badly. The settlement with Manny Pacquiao must have been enormous. The legal fees alone must have been millions, and he would have had to pay for all sides. Oscar broke down first, and went to hide in a sanitarium where he literally cried to Arum for forgiveness. And it was all because the MannyP lawyers casually asked to court to have Mayweather and Golden Balls supply them with his medical and testing records for his previous 8 fights. Nobody seems to either know or remember this...... To brainwashed by ****** flash.

THAT TELLS ME EVERYTHING...... How about you...??
OK, racisim aside. Why doesn't Showtime simply pull the plug if Floyd is losing them money and refusing to fight the guy that could make them money?

That's not a bad ad-lib, although he wasn't dangling, he tripped into the punch..... but not exactly what I was politely describing.....

So why in the name of common sense would the Showtime president come out in support of a duck move on Floyd's part. Which in turn is gonna cost Showtime money? Answer ****in' question. All you keep saying is "Floyd ducking Manny." "Floyd ducking Mnny." "Floyd ducking Manny." But ain't making no common sense. If this is an obvious duck. Why the **** would Showtime support a move that's gonna cost their company millions? Its ******. More ****** actually than you and the rest of the haters screaming duck when none of what we have presented in front of us validates. You're just a ****** ass fanboy. Plain and simple.
Perhaps the simple answer is that Phoney Phloyd straight out refused to fight MannyP and Showtime made this announcement to save face... and not depreciate their investment.

What is their to defend? You got the Showtime president, who's company is losing money out the ass. Saying that he ain't ****in' with Arum. If Floyd was the problem, why wouldn't he either pull the plug on the contract or publically call Floyd out for costingg his company money?

What investment? They're losing money. How does it benefit them to assist Flyd in ducking Pac? Even in "saving face." How does going broke save you face?

Obviously, its some legitmacy to Arum being the problem if Showtime would rather lose their ass in these bull**** fights Floyd is about to put on, rather than deal with Arum. That's why saying Floyd is the one blocking makes no sense, based on this article. It doesn't make business or common sense.
The only thing they can do it seems is threaten Floyd with not going through with anymore of his remaining fights. I don't know why this Espinoza fool is putting his two cents in besides the fact that Floyd and his team said they would not work with Arum which is already public knowledge to begin with. I'm sure Arum is culpable too but even he knows he has limited time left to make money off of Pac and he has publicly said that he wants to make the Pac-Floyd fight this year. The more Arum shows interest in compromising, the more Floyd and his people are focusing on Arum as a deal breaker. I think Pac doing testing is a step in showing they are willing to meet Floyd's demands but that won't be enough.

Taking a loss of millions per fight makes no sense at all so something has to give at some point.
