He hasn't really beaten any of the top guys in the division, unless we're counting Macklin. Strangely, he keeps getting credit for "beating" opponents he hasn't even fought yet. But oh yeah, "they're all ducking him" so that means he automatically gets a check in the winning column.

Well he's facing Adama next, can't wait. I'm glad HBO3 Latino is picking this fight up. Should be a great fight. The fight is great because Golovkin is only making $500k. If he was making more, I wouldn't be excited. It's the fact that Golovkin isn't getting paid a millie that gets me excited to watch his fights against cans.

Heres what my eyes tell me for now, GGG is the best middleweight I see!
Sergio is gamer, he can box and utilize his ring generalship but as far as punching and the willingness to dominate he won't go there!
He wants nothing to do with GGG, neither do any of the names mentioned in this thread. The fellows who fight him are taking their opportunity to try and move up so the Rosarios of the boxing world should be commended. Ray.
              1. Martinez has bigger fish to fry.
              2. Golovkin has one belt, not "belts"
              3. Golovkin hasn't fought any one and is in his first weight class. Do like Martinez did and move up to 168. Martinez moved up from 154 after getting tired of being ducked by the top guys for being unknown and having no names on his resume. Soon as he got to 160 he started getting better names on his resume and now he's getting the biggest he can get.

Martinez shouldn't just give GGG a gift like that, why should he, when he never got one? He had to wait till his mid 30s and move up to a 3rd weight class. I guarantee you if Golovkin moves up to 168-175 and starts roaring about, calling out Ward, Groves, Kovalev, Stevenson, Froch, Kessler, he'd get all of there attention immediately.

Wonder where I've heard that before, and am even more dumbfounded as to why that doesn't work with GGG?
Let me guess, you think it's because he's white? Lol can't even compare ggg and Floyd opposition. An old Mosley is leaps and bounds better than anyone ggg beat

Maybe if he didn't get sonned by Margarito in his US debut he would of went on to bigger and better things, instead he lost and went go hide in Spain and Argentina.

This is not an HBO fight and isn't treated as one. Comes dirt cheap and doesn't take a primetime date. It's bonus boxing on TV, you're welcome to skip. It's like saying, get those ****ty Sho Extreme undercards off TV. I agree it'd be lame if this was the only fight they're showing. They better show some undercard, like those Shiming cards.
