I agree n SaldanaCC said calm down he's taking a break. He's fighting Khan who cares? We boxing fans do, there's a 1,000 times better fighters than Khan. Now I didn't say fight Ward or Mike Tyson, but Mayweather said it himself n I quote "To be the best you MUST fight the best. Floyd the no1 pound for pound fighter in the world always want a low risk and high reward fight..is this what you called an elite fighter?....duran, hearns, leonard, etc were always looking on the fight that will challenge them the most.fighting the best....Floyd fighting someone not a threat......

As a Mayweather fan I don't like this fight either but who else is their that will sale. I'm sure there are better fighters than Khan but none at 147 besides PAC that have a huge following.

Mayweather had the perfect opportunity to get a belt at 160 with Martinez. Should have jumped on it, Martinez has declined but not to the point where Floyd would have not got tons of credit and respect for taking the fight. Fight would easily do 1 Millions buys too.

Khan has a lousy following in the UK, that's a myth. It would probably be packaged as a PPV event in the UK, though, and might do a decent number as UK fight fans will get ****** into the hype, but they will be buying it as much to see Floyd as Khan; in fact, many of them will be tuning in to see Khan outclassed.

And we not buying that **** unless the undercard is stacked. That's just real boxing fans. Casual fans are hearing kahn is a bum and not to buy the fight. It seems like you takinh an easy fight. Former champion Julio Diaz is a little surprised that Amir Khan (28-3, 19KOs) is potentially getting a shot at Floyd Mayweather Jr. (45-0, 26KOs) on May 3rd at the MGM Grnad in Las Vegas. Khan has not fought since the April outing against Diaz. In that fight, Diaz was viewed as an aging veteran being sent to the slaughterhouse, but instead he dropped Khan in the fourth round and then badly hurt him several times in the fight. Khan was lucky to walk away with a close unanimous decision on scores of 115-113, 114-113 and 115-112.
