I've been watching boxing for 40 years, know many top fighters and been very close to the game throughout these years and I have to say I do hope the person writing the above quote IS writing a very dry joke because if not this person is watching the wrong sport or is indeed Amir con himself .......WORSE POST I'VE EVER COME ACROSS!

To be fair he gave him hell. Khan was expected to impress his audience against a supposedly washed up fighter. Although he won, Khan looked like he was declining.

Even if Khan won with a KO/TKO he still wouldn't have gotten any credit as he fought at a catch weight and he was upon expectations meant to beat Diaz in a flashy fight.

Mayweather of course found this comeback victory of Khan - - - impressive.

Julio Diaz was destroyed by Kendall Holt and turns around and nearly stops a used up Khan and suddenly he is a world beater.

I don't know why you fools keep saying this. I guess nostalgia make us all blind, but EVERY fighter took easy fights in between big ones. Do you think Ray Robinson only fought champs, or even Hagler, Leonard and Marciano. They fought for the most money, the easiest quickest way they could get it. And the way fans are today willing to throw a fighter away after 1 loss, you deserve the mismatches you complain about.
