    I understand boxing is a business...but it's also a sport.

    I think most educated fans don't turn a blind eye to the business side of this game, but as fans we can't use that to justify crap fights. Understanding is one thing, but defending it is another. If a great matchup also makes great business sense, I'm all for it. But a crap fight is a crap no matter how much money is generated.

              I've never understood the way fans would defend a fighter who they know is taking a high reward, low risk fight all the while still praising the guy as a great fighter, or the best fighter since whatever.

                  I agree but when we are talking about PPV it's who has the biggest name, or who's hot at the moment.
