    Maidana has improved?

Beating Broner doesnt mean you have improved

Maidana seems to be unimproved everytime he steps up against a decent boxer, see Devon

I'm not 100% but I think the Alexander fight was before he got with Garcia.

He seems to have definitely sharpened up and improved since he's got with him.

We have watched Floyd - Baldomir, Floyd - Ortiz, even Floyd - Guerrero !! Chino is a far bigger threat than any of them. At least Floyd will have to face an almost 100 punches per round machine gun and Robert Garcia will try to devise plans A and B to hit Floyd some way... and you never know.

Kinda doubtful either Khan or Maidana would win, but I do think Khan's speed would perplex Floydie for a bit.... and if Maidana went at Floydie guns blazing like he did after Bonehead, there's always that chance. Reason Canelo lost was he tried to box a master boxer when he should've just went at him to kick his azz. But Chino has the magic bullet, plus he does get some awkward angles going on those punches. You can't plan for that, since he has so many different ones. I'm just saying, with Chino, you'd most likely have a SD for Floydie, and Floydie would be busted up worse than he was from Cotto, and exhausted, all from trying to escape with his life all night. And AGAIN, I'm saying Chino does NOT win, so don't start in with the lambasting. HA

Even a over the hill Paulie looked good against Broner

Broner should never be the measuring stone for improvement

You're right IronDan... Maidana was not with Robert Garcia for the Alexander fight. And yes, every fight since then he has improved.

                He isn't.

You can see just looking at the way he throws his punches and certain movements, angles etc that he's definitely improved in his last 4 fights.

Which someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that's the exact time he got with Garcia. Straight after the Alexander fight was when I think he hired Garcia. One of the Maidana fans could confirm this I'm sure.

He may not be a brand new fighter but in my eyes it's very clear that's he's made gradual improvements in certain areas of his game.

Chino is not a bigger threat than Ortiz let alone Hatton

People forget how good Hatton was and how he tried to bum rush Floyd and what happened, he was gassed and frustrated. Floyd took all his strengths away.

Maidana aint half a good fighter as Hatton was, the bum rush tactic doesnt work on Floyd, when will folks learn, Floyd is even more difficult to hit since going back to Snr, as we have seen in the last two outings.

To have a chance at causing a upset against Floyd, you need to match him for athleticism, speed and you need a jab, as well as quick flurries

Only 3 fighters at 147 fit this bill Pac, Khan and Bradely

                  Chino stands zero hope

I completely understand some of the more delusional people on this site wish that Adrien Broner was Floyd Mayweather, well he isn't not by any stretch of the imagination. "AB" was hit more in his last fight than Mayweather has been hit in his entire career. The weaknesses were all apparent, lack of footwork, head movement, inept implementation of the "shoulder roll," inability to adjust etc., not characteristics associated with Floyd.

I understand some think AB was another version of Floyd but he wasn't, Broner's just a brash kid that got his a$$ whipped, nothing more. Maidana has as much chance of beating Floyd as a blind man in a wheel chair does.

Yeah but Mayweather in 2007 is not the same as Mayweather in 2014 (When the fight would happen).

A whole 7 years will have gone by. Things happen and Mayweather won't be 30 years old and in his peak he'll be 37 and well beyond his best.
