Joe Louis is the best heavyweight of all time. Ali is second and I think Holmes and Lennox Lewis are tied for 3rd with Vitali and Wladimir nipping at their heels. Wladimir will likely wind up 3rd overall if he managed to rack up a couple more decent defenses of lineage.

        Best heavyweight

Knockout losses to McCall and Rahman, distances Lewis from the elite.
After the McCall loss, his excuse was that he took him lightly and it would not happen again! Beating them in rematches does not give him redemption. McCall was a sorry sight that night. Then there was the trouble a past his best Holyfield gave him in the second fight.

          haha what a joke

unfortunately, you gotta bring the whole package to be an ATG great... and that includes tough cut-resistant skin

Vitali was not stiff, he's awkward because of his size but he has natural balance, timing and awareness. Do you really think Ali would have out pointed him? We know he couldn't knock him out so like I said, barring cuts Ali couldn't beat Vitali.

It was a fluke cut against another big ATG heavyweight. It happens in boxing. Cuts have never hindered Vitali any other time.

BTW, 'cut resistant skin' makes no difference if you aren't getting hit.

Quite comfortably. He's faster, more skilled, and moves much better.
