Paul Williams became the mandatory after he beat Margarito...he only fought quintana because Floyd retired for a bit..there is video and abundant footage of this online. Even Floyd's biggest fans have acknowledged this and then there's the infamous "You are a straight b*tch" that Williams blasted at Floyd in public. Floyd didn't want to fight Paul for two reason..nobody wanted to fight Paul at 147 anymore until Quintana stepped upto the plate and the money wasn't going to be what Floyd got accustomed to. During that time Williams was fighting on average every 3 months..his next bout after Margarito came 7 months later because he was hoping to fight Floyd.

Ok cool, my bad must've misread. I do think Paul though was a problem in his peak until Quintana made him look human tho.

N matter what happens, blame Floyd. Its about 400k of ya'll left according to the Pac-Rios numbers. That's enough revenue to keep bull**** going.
You know, you post a lot of dumb **** on this site. I'm certain after you type your little posts, you lean back, re-read and genuinely feel that you've just offered up some real insight to the world, but you really haven't. You can go around in circles trying to explain away something very basic, but you're not fooling anyone. There is a fight out there that will make two fighters more money than has ever been earned by two athletes in the history of the earth. One side of this equation has created EVERY roadblock to making this fight happen. I don't particularly care who wins this fight, so I'm neither a 'fanboy' nor a 'hater' of either fighter, but, as a fight fan, I do (did) want to see the damn fight happen. NO sane and objective person at this point in the proceedings can say that Manny Pacquiao's side is to blame for this fight not happening. Only true fan boys such as yourself buy the bull**** excuses every time they're invented.

What you left out is they approached Cotto when his contract was about to run out..and right now Cotto is a free agent technically so why is he going to go fight Martinez instead..clearly he feels he was being short changed and felt he could earn more fighting Martinez. As I said to someone earlier..Pacquaio has signed two extension and nobody approached him either time his contract was about to expire if they wanted to fight him as a free agent genuinely.

I can see you've read enough of his posts to form a valid and true opinion. But don't forget, hes the one teaching all of us. lol

I can say about 90% of rappers have an alcohol addiction problem, and close to 50% have additional substance issues. It doesn't bode well for AB to be in that busienss considering he's coming into it with millions already in his pockets. If folks think the King, Arum, and Schaeffer's are bad...music has a million version of those guys. You can't be an athlete sitting on a bus 10 to 12 hours a day getting twisted and ****ing groupies. It's a recipe for disaster. Moving down isn't going to help, he's too in love with the music side of it..because he's the only attraction on the stage and in boxing he's only half of the equation. Until he grows out of that he will have issues at any weight.
Ultimately, I don't have firsthand knowledge of his lifestyle. So I don't take it into account when talking about him as a fighter. At the end of the day. Its his choice. Bu from where I'm sitting, nobody was a bigger dopehead than Sweet Pea. He did alright. AB's fellow Cincinnatian Hawk Pryor was a pretty good **** up. He did pretty good. Talent is talent. I don't think AB is a special talent. But I do think he's good enough to be very good for awhile if stardom isn't his priority.

How did he become Floyd's mandatory when he won the WBO belt for beating Margario. When did ABC groups start ranking champions from other ABC groups?

You just mentioned the motherfk-ing Hawk..I'd give you a man hug right now...that mofo's career was a human highlight real of punching power..one of my favorite fighters to watch reels on..we can end this peacefully on that right there..you just made me get all fanboy tingly right now mentioning the Hawk. For those who don't know go watch footage on that cat if you like punchers...
