"He's long and has the work output to make Rigo uncomfortable."

    We saw how that went.

Santa Cruz is bigger and longer than Agbeko. However, all that means is that there's a bigger target for Rigo to hit. What could get Cruz in trouble are those tics he has where he wiggles his hand or when he wipes his glove on his trunks. Rigo is too quick for him to be doing that shit.

Agbeko played it smart and try to survive after he felt the power only way to make Rigo uncomfortable is to fight dirty make it ugly as **** idk if it still works but it used to on baby pro Rigo he would get very uncomfortable.
I think your reasoning is slightly flawed,, when did donaire throw punches in bunches???????
The rest of your post makes sense, but i wouldnt use donaire as an example since he didnt throw any punches in bunches

Rigo would give him the Agbeko treatment.

You may be right about that,, i have a feeling he is alittle overrated myself, but if he is the goods, and another baby margs like people claim he is, then his style would cause rigo alot of problems, especially if he can get off 5-6 punch combinations instead of 3-4 or less

I was referring more to what Agbeko was supposed and everyone including me thought he would do in that part. Donaire i meant he opened up more by the end of the fight although did try first couple of rounds not went all out since he is a counter puncher but he tried to get respect with power Rigondeaux actually countered him was the one who ended up getting the respect. That is why i say throwing punches at Rigondeaux is not as easy as it seems you can't get away with throwing any combination safely let alone 5 punches, but a guy like Broner yes you can go to town because he would cover up and wait and then attack after his opponent is done, but good counter punchers will make a guys miss or get the punch in first and make the opponent pay not just let em throw a bunch of punches in there for free.

ok, sounds good,,, agebako was a major letdown,, he felt rigo, and then pulled a clottey

I think your right about throwing punches at rigo, but even the best counterpunchers have trouble with non-stop guys like frazier, paul williams, manny at feather, margs etc

Its easy for rigo to shut down a guy looking for at best a 3-4 punch combination, but when the puncher is throwing 6,7,8,9 punches at a time, it gets harder and harder, and santa cruz has that ability, now will he have the balls to throw in volume vs rigo is another question,,

If santa cruz is like a baby margs like so many people claim, then he will be hell for rigo to deal with, but if he is like an agebako, then yes your absolutely right, and rigo will carve him up

Well if he got an Iron chin like that Rigo gonna have to pull out that plan B and use his movement and angles. I havent seen the chin get tested really but that should come with higher level of opposition, but the boy sure as **** can be relentles and put punches together so far so sad this fight probably wont get made anyway over boxing political b/s. I actually would love Rigondeaux to fight a relentless guy who Agbeko was supposed to be but he lost his ballz in atlantic city after that first couple body shots and an upper.

Ps: If any body find Agbeko's ballz in Nj please mail them to him he could use them in his next fight.

Again how many times has Leo been down before, OK now how many times has Rigo been down? People praising Rigo too much for his win over Donaire, If anyone was overhyped maybe it was Donaire because if he would of agreed to face Mares his L would've happened sooner or later!

Leo has fought tomato cans and cab drivers ofc he hasnt been down it's not about knockdowns anybody can get flash kd is what you do after you get up.Lets see santa cruz get dropped and get up in steady legs and dominate then he may impress me. In his first step up in competition Cruz looked like he got carried by being the bigger man so idk what the hell you even talking about like santa cruz stock is doing so well now.
And You mean the same Mares that is still sleeping somewhere In the stub hub center in cali? Yes i see him doing great against a counter puncher who hits as hard or harder than gonzales does.

Lets face it you are not being objective you just post b/s out of love for them because they are mexican nothing wrong with that but is still b/s

I big fan of Santa Cruz; I think he gives Rigo all he can handle but loses a closely contested Uni decision.
